Hey, the mock draft should be done as realistically as possible, right?!?!?

Sounds Reasonable though I think if trading the 23 pick for the 33 pick that second pick should be between 45 and 50
- Brukie

Its a tough one to really calculate because theres only a couple teams with the early pick and a mid-late pick in the second round. Maybe could get Ducks to throw in a late pick.

If we are trading back I am looking at multiple years. 2nd and a 4th/5th this year and then a 2nd next year also.

Id try to get 2nd's this year and then the addition late pick from another year. Some of these guys going in the 2nd this year would be fringes 1st round picks in other drafts. Next years draft is supposedly not particularly strong. Which is why Id like to trade next years 1st round pick as well (which would likely be 26-32), for an early 2nd this year.

That is true but was also thinking of getting some ammo for next years trade deadline. That 2nd might help then

I dont think MTL trades both for 23 unless theres a player there that they absolutely must have.

That makes sense. But Id still want to trade next years first for an early 2nd this year.

Isn’t that the reason any team would trade up

I still think we would have to add something addition to it.

I saw hes a free agent. For 850k to play on the 4th line, I feel like its almost a must have.

Just heard a draft guy talking about sleepers in the draft, Jayden Perron and Jayson Shaugabay are two to try and sang he said. Mid rd picks. They are both RWs also. Very undersized which is why they’ll go lower. Very skilled kids tho

Yup. Now I just don't care anymore. Because the Rangers will just (frank) it up anyway. So what's the point?
