She has options, still 2 picks before she makes her pick so some of those guys might be gone:

Stramel (C), Wahlberg (C), Bonk (RHD), Strbak(RHD) or....Hrabal (G)

Still not convinced they keep that pick, but we will see... either #31 or the 2nd round pick #37 will likely be a goalie, if they keep those.

Didn't have the best wingers, he was the 2nd center behind Smith (who got Perreault and Leonard as wingers), coach put Moore on a defensive line. Might have more offense then he showed when put on a line with better wingers...but everyone says he is the best skater in the draft, not close.

Would Detroit package their 2 1st round to move up to #5? (#9 and 17)

yep, 2 very nice assets to have at that age, defensively responsible and fast skater.
think I read DET will keep their picks but I may be wrong, and they might not always tell the truth

suggests below, the Montreal Canadiens have circled back on PLD. Seemed LA was a clear frontrunner, and that may still be the case, but the Habs have re-engaged.

I think LAK trade hit a snag...WPG is trying to force MTL to increase their offer.

Insiders like Friedman and Seravalli are saying Dubois is NOT negotiating with any team yet.

Would a pick switch (#5 and 18) be on the table? maybe

the REAL question IMO is...are the Habs willing to trade Dach for Dubois? That's who they want from MTL

Jets Gm said he is not looking to rebuild, he wants young NHL ready players, they are looking to replace Dubois with a C. LAK are said to offer Vilardi, 23yrs old centre...6'2". Dach is the Habs equivalent, they have nobody else to match something like that.

The Jets beat reporter (Murat) is the one mentioning the Jets are targeting Dach from MTL.
