I liked Dubois. He is a solid 2A Center. I did not see #1 Centre in him after a few years. It was exciting when he first got here. I thought that the Jets finally got that 1-2 punch down the middle. He did not live up to what I thought he could have been. I am glad the Jets are not paying that salary.

Very good deal for Jets if this sticks...and it puts a fellow western conference team in serious cap hell.

I'll chime in too and join the masses in saying that this does appear to be a very good trade for the Jets under the circumstances. There is the saying that the team that gets the best player is the ultimate winner ( which would be Dubois) but in this case, the Jet's haul of very good players plus a decent draft pick usurps that notion.

I am not too sure. Villardi has yet to play a full season in the NHL. It also looks like Iafallo has not played a full season in a while too. I will reserve opinion on this trade. Initially it looks like we got a lot, but we will see what these pieces translate into.

Kupari hasn't developed offensively yet but he shows flashes of skill. He has a motor for sure. Kupari can help the Jets on the 4th line immediately and the PK.
