As an outsider. Ive always been impressed with Bouchard. Also these bridge deals are what allows teams to have some cap space for more moves I would think. Bridge them now for flexibility over the next couple of years and get them locked up long term once the cap "booms".

Every one is singing high praise of Bouchard but before he was paired up with Eklhom many people were crying for him to be benched because he looked lost out. 2.5 months of being paired with an excellent defenceman does not make a 6-7 million dollar d-man. Is Bouchard worth the same value as Elkhom? Not at the moment and maybe not for a couple years. He currently is the 3rd best d-man and should be paid that way. 3.5 million per year for 2-3 years is appropriate for Evan and hopefully his agent realizes that.

Well done Sean,

Not to worried about Bouchard Oiler fans should be more concerned about letting Kostin and Bjugstad walk and Hopkins still on the roster after that PO performance.

I hope Holland has a plan lol

Good man thx. Busy June was gone for most of the month to vacation to BC on/off as well. Some new investment projects happening up north Alberta now that we have investment pouring in due to the great election results. Edmonton is still an NDP clown city but that's another discussion lol. But overall quite good thx it was nice to take the break for a bit. Hope you are well man.

Even with his solid if unspectacular offensive output , RNH was not great. Having said that, wondering if he will be bounce back or not is not particularly worrisome, nor is anywhere near a top concern on this club as you hyperbolize.

Well I look at a 100 point guy that completely disappeared in the PO's a big concern.

Now, he may 'bounce back' as you claim and have another great reg. season but that's means jack when you are trying to make the cup finals and can't produce in the grind of the PO's.

His production took a slight dip compared to his regular season. His production in the playoffs the last 4 years have been precisely where we should expect it to be. At his price tag I’ll take that every spring. Everyone knows his regular season was a bit of an anomaly. Then again if you think he can be replaced at that cap hit with a more productive player have at it.

In what world should we expect more than 11 points in 12 games? .At his price tag I’ll take that every spring. Everyone knows his regular season was a bit of an anomaly. I'm doing pretty good. Been on vacation myself visiting family in Ontario for the last couple weeks. How do you like BC? Where were you visiting?

I have heard the saying, "Opposites attract." After reading your conversation with Lord Micro Noodle I now believe we can change the saying to, "Opposites AND Idiots attract."

Lower Mainland and Okanagan mostly. Might hit the Island in August for some family stuff then back to the lower Mainland middle two weeks August. I love BC for the most part and was born in Van...but would never move back. Too expensive to retire there now and the GreenDP clown show govt is well...not good lol.

You'll take 1 goal per 12 PO games from Hopkins every Spring? Then a PO exit?

Wicked.
