love Claude Vilgrian.
Bill is Smolek a legit prospect in the flyers eyes or more AHL depth?
Will Lappy put Samu in a position succeed or 4th line? - hello it's me 2050
He has to start on The 4th line and earn his way up the lineup. He needs to demonstrate that he understands how to play the “Flyer” way - get the puck in deep - chip it off the glass - play a 200 ft game etc |

Zmolek is a depth addition. Tuomaala needs real ice time including PP time to succeed. When Flahr was asked during development camp about whether Samu could possibly stick in a checking role at some point and the org has praised his two-way improvement and added muscle for the past year, Flahr unequivocally said, "We want him to score with the speed and shot he has." The other stuff was needed, too, but if he's going to make it, offense has to be a big part of it. Not going to do that unless he's higher in the lineup. |

good to hear, now lets see how it shakes out in LHV. I have my reservations.
Will lappy let him get that time and don't pull the plug at the first sign of struggle.
Who do you think would be good line mates for Samu in LHV? thanks.

Ellis, unfortunately, is unlikely to ever resume his playing career due to a torn psoas muscle in his back.

Michkov, Gauthier, Foerster, Bonk and two first round picks in 2024 we haven’t talked about yet - SuperSchennBros
This sounds like a positive Flyers post. You are on the wrong board, the board is for bashing the flyers, the players and the people who run the organization. |

There's been a lull in player movement league-wide. Surely there will be more before the season starts. Is Erik Karlsson and/or 2018 Canadian Junior team pending report the reason for the inactivity? |

Sorry.
I fully expect Cutter Gauthier to become the next Mike Ricci and in a Mr. T voice “Michkov ain’t never coming back” |

That 2018 report is taking longer to release than GnR’s Chinese Democracy. What’s the holdup? |

Hey Bill, very happy you mentioned Hunter MacDonald in the prospect pipeline. I was really impressed with his play at Northeastern last season and I look forward to him taking another big step this season. He already has pro size and shows great poise with the puck. |

Glad to see MM hitting the ground running.
What a nice bonus that would be if he's able to play C as well.

Not that I ever expect him to in the NHL, but even having him out there killing penalties was a surprise to read. |

Is being a Ricci suppose to be a bad thing? He had a pretty decent career, even though most was on other teams.
Or is Ricci bad because the shadow of Jagr?

You see, I would put this under the category of trolling, which I know you would never think of doing since you lecture MJL about it time and time again. The fact is I have mentioned Hunter in the past, maybe not as much as Cutter or Kaplan, or JOB before them, but I do watch him and I like what I see. Why are you trying to make this into some sort of debate? I know its August and its a very slow news month when it comes to the NHL, but there are better things to waste our time with than this, don't you think? |

“Yeah well I think Ryan Ellis is ‘so ass’…”
hey I just wanna thank everyone who made this possible, mom, dad, the crew back home… we did it! |
