My expectation for Dvorak is a trade, but that only happens if he comes back after recovery with a strong showing. They will never get anything near what they paid for him, but if there is a desperate team out there with injuries or a team thinks they can go far but needs depth a center, the Habs might be able to get a 2nd.

I expect more like a 3rd or something. - Mashadar
Most playoff teams are looking for middle-six centre depth around the playoff time. There'll be a suitor if he isn't broken. Much like every team wants a Luke Schenn/Ben Chiarot/Douglas Murray/Zach Bogosian etc. big beefy guy on a small deal.
Dvorak only 27 with a reasonable cap hit. Maybe a TDL reunion with Domi and Marner would entice the Leafs? But looking at their dearth of prospects and picks, what would you want off that roster? Possibly 21yo Nic Robertson for a fresh start in Laval? Treliving needs to be proactive no doubt.

I expect Dvorak to play #3C and hopefully get some time on the PP in front of the net. he's good at that. we've been using Gally there for 10 years, time for a bigger body to do the job.
as for a trade... not with 2 years remaining. maybe next summer.

cap hit of 4.45M, actual salary of 5.725M for the next 2yrs, has a MNTC with 8 teams he won't go to.
Move him next summer or at the TDL if they can.

Why would we have trouble moving a "more offensive Danault"
It's more of a French sector teacher than anything. The issue their is they force funnel everyone that you run into issues such as behavioral, unable to grasp the language and cultural differences.
You also have the new issue of parents thinking they are, by default, right about their children (this is in English and French schools). They ignore the issues and needs their kids require and hold all academic and behavioral problems at the feet of teachers and administration. Your kid didn't study... it's our fault. Your kid got caught vaping in the bathroom... it's our fault. Hell, I was harassed by multiple parents because their kids failed my class (despite my warnings, and never attending lunch and after school tutorials).
Lack of support from school administration. The last thing a principal wants are parents complaining to the board, so a lot gets swept under the rug and the teachers are told to ease off and diffuse the situation, so the kid doesn't get kicked out of class. It's essentially discouraged. Had a teacher quit last year because the principal downplayed a criminal assault that happened.
Lastly, job availability, yes there are jobs available, but if you live Montreal are you going to travel to Lachute for a 25% ERC workload? BTW if you're a new teacher, that will pay you $14,000.
Hope this answers somethings
