I personally think that would be a good move.

Saves leafs cash for moves during season/deadline improves their dcore and clearly Wahlstrom is no Willy but still great shot and isn’t timid. Also good shot off half wall on PP2.
Leafs can add a bit depth scoring deadline of need be as well.

34/Marner/JT/Bert/Domi/Knies/Jarnkrok/Rielly/
Klingberg….is a solid output of offence spread through 3 lines and 2 pairings - definitely good to start the year with.
