Close enough!

In other news, Vasilevskiy is going to be out for 2 months
Looks like the Tampa pick might be even better than the 2023 draft pick

Lightning goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy underwent successful back surgery out two months of the season.

That should help our TB first round pick.

Now, if we could trade them Mzarek and retain 1/2 the chances get even better the pick is better.

We don't want Tampa to drop below 10. Mrazek will put them in the bottom 3.

Yes I saw what wiz has said about the Blackhawk dmen prospects.

We are not going to be surprised with KK performance on the exhibition season and if he sticks for nine games

Clearly he needs to play and if he isn't yet ready - had a few areas he needs to improve upon - then he can work on them even at the Junior hockey level.
And then too it would be better ti see him stronger next fall competing for a job. No.need to rush him along.

I believe it would be more beneficial to save one or two games played exhibition season for both Crevier and Roos. I believe both are legitimate NHL prosoects who gain a better understanding of what they need to do or improve upon by playing in even two exhibition contests

Then too we know that Phillios and Kaiser are both close to NHL ready so they should play on most of not each NHL preseason game.

Additionally we should see Allennin.at least a couple of games. Richardson is fond of his style of play and BOTH Richardson and our GM know.that between DelMaestto, Allen and Crevier one of them.could at some point replace a veteran physical style veteran dman like Zaitsev or Murphy

I just do not want KK playing roo much at the expense of playing time for other prospets......
..........they all deserve some reps so do not give too much look to KK. I do not believe KK gets so much better on.huscweaknaread by playing extra exhibition contests anyway

I am not pleased to see decisions made on prosoects without getting at least a couple games in...........and I refer to Roos and Crevier. Both are too good to overlook for the sake of KK max out his games played in preseason

Have you been taking grammar and spelling lessons from Wiz?

BTW, KK is a bust, no need to waste time opining about what his future holds.

Question to the board. Does anyone think Davidson will make another trade before the regular season starts, or is he done and this what he and the coaching staff going with?

Most dmen prospects are not ready fresh from Junior and other leagues/collegiate level too. Some improve on the job. Bouchard in Edmonton and Byram in Colorado. You also see some dmen prospects benefit from solid coaching and.a season or two in the AHL. Example: Dobson

Chicago probably will see some prospects at different positions benefit more from gaining additional experience before they are able to impact as better NHL players. Certainly Reichel stands out in this regard

As for proofreading I should fix the typos before I post. My bad as I am too quick to want to post
Using my laptop or tablet would result in fewer typing mistakes as well.

Finally!
All the dust from the off-season chess moves has settled, and now some hockey!
With the current Chicago sports landscape as rough as it has been, thank goodness

Blackwell or Entwistle for a mid-late round pick.

Toronto has to off-load about 3 million, not sure what kind of deal is available there.

Really? Why are we here? To watch hockey or wait for trades? I say trades, lots and lots of trades.
