Kevin Owens was at the game with his Habs jersey on
On Bedard : not saying I like it but fans have been booing the best player of the other team, for years now. This is nothing new here.
When Crosby got into the league, Flyers fans did not shy away to call him names and what not
Booing Bedard a little is nothing |

tks Karine,
it took all they've got to beat a very weak Hawks team. nothing to write home about.
some positives, Caufield's shoulder looks to be ok. Monty was solid. RHP is always there, you know what to expect. Evans has a very good start of the season. happy to see that the coach is working on managing Suzuki's ice time. we'll have a fun winter!
still too many penalties though.
and please bring back Sara. that anthem signer last night was a disgrace. |

that very weak Hawks team managed to beat pittsburgh a few days ago. Their goalie has been solid as well. Oh and mtl played that game without their 2nd C for most of the said game
2 goals came from the line everybody here was bashing

yep, start of the season, pretty difficult to predict winners and losers. we see this kind of upsets all around the league. it will take a month or two to settle down. |

its not an upset, its a hockey game
you think Chicago will lose 80 games this season? nope
anybody can beat anybody on any giving night, in one game
its the god damn NHL
anyway, glad to see hockey is back now. Hopefully Dach will comeback soon.
Keeping Monahan for a year was very wise |

The Canadiens played a dominant game last night and were able to contain boy-wonder Connor Bedard to net a 3-2 win in their first game of the season at the Bell Center. - Karine Hains
I really like the distributed offence from the first 2 games, all 4 lines have scored goals, had decent moments, and seem to be improving.
Hopefully Dach is good to go on Tuesday, and they do not have to mangle up the lines to compensate. Only 2 games this week (Tues and Saturday), but after that it is 5 games in 8 nights, that is when the crunch really starts.

Hawks played three rookie defensemen. Hawks will be really good in 2-3 years. Have a LOT of talent coming up and have a haul of 1st and2nd round picks next three years. Will finish with a top three pick in ‘24 draft. |

They never gave an opinion, they made a post to create engagement by saying "is example B better than example A?" People replying with "no it's not" isn't being butthurt. It's giving engagement to something that requested such discussion.
Being mad that people disagree with your view is being butthurt. |

judging from the post, it's pretty much implied that Cole's goal did indeed one-upped Nylander's... not that it really matters because it's Twitter, where being permanently butthurt about everything is a professional sport, if you look a bit further you're bound to find that type of comment. |

The way he's been playing since the year started, losing him would be a huge blow.

what happened exactly? I missed the game... saw Caufield's goal though, what a beauty.
