Karine Hains: In Hainsight: Beware of a Silent Man and Still Water The Canadiens will face the Washington Capitals at the Bell Center and to say that the Caps are having an underwhelming start to the season would be an understatement.

Good blog as usual Karine. Not too sure it’s gonna be easier for Primeau to play against the Sabres instead of the Caps. Only saw them play 2 periods this year but the Caps aren’t nearly dynamic as they were. Anyway, Primeau needs to prove he belongs so it doesn’t really matters who he faces.
For tonight, I would give Slaf a shot on the 1st and bring RHP on the 2nd with Newhook and Anderson. Oh and what a great professional start for Roy, this kids will become a top 6 forward in the NHL sooner than later. Such a smart hockey player 👍

Forward Jared Davidson (upper-body) is week-to-week. He suffered the injury during practice.

Injuries in practice now!

so many teams will be entering the Armia sweepstakes, Hughes better take advantage of the situation and create a bidding war to maximize on the return.

To the right team, trading for Armia could be the difference between finishing 28th or 29th overall.

Bigly impact.

I know deep down everyone secretly wishes he stayed, but at this point it might be better for the habs to move on and trade him for an elite prospect or something while his value is at its highest...

I liked him on a 4th line with Perry in the playoffs. he's a reliable player, he's just wayyyyyy overpaid for what he brings offensively (or doesn't bring lol).

I am not saying the guy is not trying.

But his performance, to your point, is very uneven, game-to-game. There are some small things he does fairly well most games, but he just does not impact in an additional manner often.

Guys like Evans and RHP or even Yolo might not get on the scoresheet, but they make the right plays most of the time and their effort and impact is there.

Can't say that for Armia most nights, unfortunately.
