I think KK's development since he went to Carolina is a good thing for people to look at when we have new kids in the lineup. Growth and personal development does not happen in 10 games, 40 games, or maybe even in 2 even years.

Look at CC... he had that terrible season, went to Laval and bounced back (with the help of MSL). He has like 80 points in his last 90 games, and that is trending upwards.

I am not looking for goals or assists, at this point.

I am looking if they are positioned properly and making the right play. Are big guys using their body to protect / retrieve the puck? Are fast guys using their speed to push the offence? Are players making good choices with their first pass out of the defensive zone? Are players actually shooting the puck or just always looking to pass even when they have a (somewhat) open shot at the net? etc.. etc..

And most importantly, are players learning/making adjustments from their mistakes?
