Happy that he signed. It gives the Bruins more options to tinker with the lines.
Surprised the team slept through the first period, but glad they came from behind to win. Ullmark was huge this game
Looks like we will have a chance to see Lohrei in the lineup with Gryz’s injury and McAvoy’s upcoming suspension.

A plain and simple cheap shot. I expect him to sit for at least 2 games if not more. Stupid and unnecessary.

Bruins also need to make the final decision on Poitras before next game too. He had a pretty bad turnover last night that lead to the second goal against. However I would like to see him play through the growing pains. Injuries likely help his cause.

McAvoy didnt help the team with his cheap shot. No need for it, was just dumb. Gryz being out is a blessing. I suspect with cap issues we will probably see mitchell recalled first. Would like to see Lohrei get a look, he hasn't been too bad down in providence to start the year.

Typical Boston scum. They should trade him and Marchand for Holl, Chiarot, and Rasmussen imho tbh.

For that, you can definitely suck it Feds.

But just for fun, counter offer. If you want McAvoy and Marchand, we will take Seider, Edvinsson, Larkin and Detroits 2024 1st.

It's really the only path for redemption at this point.

Under 1 mil for a 13th forward. He's experienced and can hopefully help. It's a good deal. At this point if that's his role then great. If he ends being an everyday player then it would seem the B's have bigger problems.

Good to see them get them get the win last night.

I hope Poitras stays. There will be little development for him going back to juniors. He plays like he belongs, I think it would be to deny him.

I agree Mitchell will probably get in the lineup to replace Gryz.

Stupid move by McAvoy. Best way to get back at FLA was to beat them. Now he's put the B's the at a disadvantage. He's the #1 D man. Make better choices.

I have honestly been paying attention to almost every shift Poitras has. I like what I see even though he has some lapses in judgement and might hold on to the puck too long sometimes. Kid WANTS the puck on his stick. He has above average vision, decent poise and isn't afraid of the dirty areas. I think he could use another 10-15 pounds on his frame, but that will come with time.

I think it would be a disservice to his development, and make the team worse to send him down at this point. Let him grow more with the big club.

I liked the shift where Rasmussen boarded him and ruined any feeling of being in the game the wings had. (frank)ing shoot that clown into the sun.

I'm sure Ken Holland will take Rasmussen. Might even give you a 2nd or 3rd rounder for him too.

Yeah, beyond stupid particularly when you are already down one D-man. Could have very easily single-handedly cost them the game.

I don't see how they can send him down...who is going to replace him and everything you said is spot on...does the kid no good.

10-15lbs would be good. Just look at Pasta now vs. when he came up. Heck, he's regularly throwing the body around now (really wish he would stop that...we have other guys to do that).

Saw a replay. What a stupid selfish penalty.

3-5 games would hopefully send a message.

I'm he'll get some weight on in the offseason. Virtually impossible with the season in full swing. Kid is a gamer for sure.

Pasta is doing his best ovechkin impression haha. He is trying to be a bruiser and a scorer. He really does need to be careful though.

The weight will come. Pasta and Debrusk had the benefit of some AHL time. The last player to jump from Jr. to the Bruins NHL roster was Seguin I think. He only put up 22 points his first season and was scratched a lot.

I think he stays. Ill be a bit pissed if he doesnt.

I think it would be smart for teams to have planned games off built around a strength training program for these tweeners. Still get them in 60-65 games but give them more opportunity for physical growth and recovery.

He will get there. I'm expecting growing pains this year but he needs to stay. I heard he was living out of a hotel until he finally gets word if he is staying or going. I think he should move in with one of the leaders for the remainder of the year if he gets good news. Being around an established player who knows the ins and outs of what it takes to do well will only benefit him off the ice.

I actually agree with this. Give them more rest and allow them to grow a bit physically during the season. The ducks are doing this with Leo Carlsson and I think it makes a lot of sense.
