I didn't see any dirty plays whatsoever.
Some penalties were uncalled for both sides, it always evens out in the end. |

The hit that sent Ghost off the ice, the hit to the side of Debrincat’s head, multiple hits by Panarin from behind and into the glass. If we saw it differently, I accept that. But to hear the commentary blame Ghost for getting boarded and Debrincat for getting his head smashed into the boards by Kreider in a targeted hit was just too much.
Again, we may see it differently but that Ghost hit, especially, was one we’ve seen players ejected for. |

All of those were hockey plays, Ghost was hit on the side, when he wasn't facing the boards.
Panarin hit was high, but not vicious.
And they all got penalties for those.
It's not a conspiracy to "get the Wings", many commenters make it seem so. |

That was for sure embarrassing for Raymond and Lalonde the way they "reacted"

There is no league wide conspiracy to “get the wings”. I’m sorry, but Ghost was driven into the boards. Panarin was not penalized on all the head hits (go back to the first period). I opened the article with noting that the Rangers outplayed Detroit and deserved the wins. However, in a league with zero consistency, plays that have been called plenty of times in the “we better not get sued for concussions” era went uncalled. I’m not trying to argue, we’ve just seen this play out completely differently |

Panarin was penalized on a hit to the head which lead to the PPG.
Cuylle hit was bad, and he was penalized.
The hit on DCat was clean, hip on hip. The fact that hes 5’7 and had his head down is not Kreiders problem.
However what everyone can agree on is the inconsistency of the refs and calls is out of control. |

You said he wasn’t even penalized lol
Bro gimme a break on him at least, he took one legit penalty
You have some beefs but a bit over the top I’d say. I’ll give you Cuylle could’ve been a major, no doubt. The stick lift gets him off the hook tho (unpenalized btw). The epitome of embellishment. Perhaps the Rangers were pissed about that and decided to win the game 🤷🏻‍♂️ |

How can it be hip on hip or Debrincats head was the point of contact. He was already bent over. They replayed it at half speed. Penarin was penalized once but did the same thing multiple times. Yes there is inconsistency but hip to hip? Come on. No one who looks at that hit says it was hip to hip in any sort of honest way |

That’s because bent over Debrincat is like a literal feline |

I am a Wings fan and will be first to admit that Ray should have gotten 2 minutes for embellishment.
Hence, I always say, it all balances out long term.
All this homer whining is counter productive, to say the least.

I acknowledged the single penalty after multiple infractions. A stick lift does not erase a possible concussion

Which means his head did not drastically change position prior to the hit and Kreisler had time to disengage |
