Hang in there JL. We all have our moments. You have a heart for this team that is hard to match. We need to hear the updates on the Broadcast Buzz as well. All is good!

The Wings need to better on the PP. That would be the best way to answer the dirtier play when they face it.

You really didn’t even need to apologize. It was all in good fun, for some. But I am sorry for saying I wanted to pass gas in your direction

Jeremy,

There's nothing wrong with advocating for something which you're passionate about. I read through the comments from your post, only thing I can offer for consideration is to be up-front about why you're advocating with such fervor. I think that folks would be more able to understand why you wrote the way you did knowing how closely personal head injuries are for you. Like you, I cringed on some of the hits, with my thoughts immediately going to concussion issues. For those who are unaware, I was hit by a car causing a severe concussion, adding to the numerous concussions from 19 years of rugby. Head injuries are very personal to me. I'm a major fan of yours, Jeremy. A rough experience doesn't mean you should step away. Just my thoughts on this....

On to the Wings; was a rough game so they need to come back with some fire. Losing points within the division truly hurts the team as they posture for the SCPO. Winning vs other division is good, but we end up beholden to the opponents of teams above us to win.....unreliable method of gaining ground. Excited to see what happens with Kane, hope the hip holds out, but the history doesn't seem to be favourable for him. Regardless, the team needs to learn how to better hold leads. Minimize pentalties! Seems that every PK is more and more dangerous, sooner or later the PK is going to drop the ball. Sustained solid 60min of play....minimize penalties. Need a come-back win after last night.

Keep writing, Jeremy. Don't let a rough night define you.

As for Hannifin: It does not seem that DRW would want to go for him. It would take getting Chiarot, a 1st, and a prospect......but no one wants Chiarot at that cap hit, but DRW needs to get rid of his cap hit to make sense in getting Noah. Any other trade pieces would just create another hole to fill. Getting rid of the Chiarot cap hit and signing Noah to an AAV of $7.5 or a bit less would be a doable plan. But like I said, no one is taking on Ben at that cap hit. I believe Petry will be bought out next summer, so there is a little more for D-men in FA.
Y will be able to attract more talented players in FA as long as this team keeps on a higher trajectory. So I am not as worried about next year.

Zadorov is headed to the Vancouver Canucks. The Flames get two picks—a fifth-rounder in 2024 and a third-rounder in 2026.
Maybe they hang on to Hannafin for now. The Flames are playing better as of late.

Zado's a hard player, good move, I'd say. I read a rumor that Hannafin may be a sign-n-trade; saw that the contract could 8x$60m. I like Hanafin.....wouldn't be upset to get him but NOT for 8x60....

Lost in the discussion of last night's game was Bear-Grin nothing an Apple on Fabbri's goal. I've liked the kid, good player, but kinda small. Think he'll be a decent player, given time.

Berggren could be a good trade chip for a better D-man

At the end of the day....we are all passionate fans. Nothing was meant to be taken personally so if there was anything I said that towed the line, I apologize.

Best of luck to the Wings the rest of the way. Your team is no doubt talented, and has a bright future
