Copley is doing just fine and shouldn’t even think about being upgraded. Talbot has earned his starting spot and Copley has been a solid back up and is better than most around the league. If the Kings make a trade, It should be a very minor trade to possibly upgrade the bottom 6, but why do that when Arvy is said to possibly be back around March? This team is fine and unless any major injury, the Kings shouldn’t do anything.

A couple of comments:
1. As well as they've been playing, they have been sloppy with the puck all over the ice and fortunately, they've been playing some defensively soft teams in the last little bit. The only really impressive wins being against the Knights and Panthers. They beat a tired Avs team that was missing the best D man in the league, they should've been up early and never looked back.
2. JAD should never be called up again. Lizzotte needs to return and in a hurry.
3. Kaliyev is the weakest link on the team. He has a great shot, but he's no Ovi. He's constantly pushed off pucks, makes bad passes, doesn't use his size to punish dmen on the forecheck enough, and his linemates suffer because they're always going out of their way to try and set him up.
4. The Kings are beating the teams they're supposed to beat right now. The real proof will be when they're able to impose their will on the top teams in the league. I'm looking forward to them playing the NYR this weekend as well as the likes of the Nucks and Bruins (again), some of the harder teams to play against. Time will tell what this team can be.

He'll get 55-70+ points, more assists than goals, and if you're in a league with hustle points like hits and takeaways, he might add something there, too. In a keeper league he'd be a great pick-up, but I think the "buy low" train left the station. Most people can see the big jump and he's only getting started at barely 21.

how about when they dominated Toronto, and their fans were booing them?
Then the next game, they dominated Ottawa, and their fans were booing them?

pretty good teams no? AND on the road

Toronto was in the midst of a terrible few games and OTT is as inconsistent as they come.

What about at home, getting handled by PHI and then PIT?

The strangest thing about the Kings, historically, is that they've had some serious road-warrior teams that aren't so hot on home ice. For whatever reason, it happens. But all i'm saying is that this strong run has not been without its warts (sloppy play with the puck and weak af PP).

yeah... the Kings were sloppy with the puck vs Washington.. many missed passes or passes into skates.... Yeah we looked good pressing them in the third, but with crisper passing, we would have won.

I'm fairly sure the Kings had the toughest schedule to start to the season, and now have the easiest schedule to finish the season.

This team is good. Sure, they can button up in some areas. But what's happening, here, looks like it might be special. I'm going to just enjoy it.

We were dominant, hit some posts, and Lindgren was incredible.

Kings were dominant in the third, much like they were against the Avs (on a B2B and without Makar) and much like they were last night. They hit posts last night, but so did CBJ. Don't get me wrong, I'm enjoying this crazy train as much as the next Kings diehard, but the reality is that they need to be better with the puck and the PP needs to not be so stale.

This quote from TMac says it all:
“Our team feels good about itself,” Kings coach Todd McLellan said. “We have confidence, but with confidence comes responsibility and we didn’t have a lot of it early in the game.”

He knows they need to be better with the puck, the boys know it too. That's all I've been saying...

Again, i stand by my comment about poor passing... look at Gaudreau's goal to make it 2-0 Columbus... pass into Spence's skates and turnover....
