Thanks Yorkie, I also thought the team played a more B+ style effort which is more than acceptable and I hope the early start today is more A- to A, A+ level. The schedule is a tough grid and the team is going to play off a bit here and there, but really enjoying the effort this season, but damn if they could improve on being the worst PP team in the league who knows maybe they could just win a few more games. 🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I agree Mr. Newbury, and good summarization. Salvaging a point when you have an early start with a two hour time change is fine, like Tocchet said, over an 82 game schedule some days can be a grind. On to Chicago to play against kid wonder.

I think for an afternoon game this was an A game for Canucks. Being a Westcoast team, other teams try to take advantage of Canucks inner alarm clocks. It was one of the best early games I can remember going all the way back to Jan 13 2012 against the Bruins 1 to 0 win.

The shootout and OT was a joke but that is on the league.

Yeah but in other matinee games in the past it would have been 7 to 0 at the end of the first. I said it the day before. Canucks do not do mornings. Getting a point on an early game is a huge bonus.
