So glad it was available to watch.

Wouldn’t it be nice if the Flyers could find a way to win this game today? Going into the break on a good note could do wonders for a young team. Hopefully the B’s are looking ahead to the break as well. Afternoon games are not our strong suit. Guess I got lucky being at the Calgary game a few weeks back, when we won. Go Flyers.

Simon's wife is gravely ill and he had had to cancel his travel plans. He is disappointed but it was the right decision. Originally, Moose Dupont was going to drive and they were to fly together from Quebec to Philly.

Ed said he was coming but changed his mind as it drew closer because the 3 hour car ride to Vancover from where he lives in BC and then 7-plus hour flight was a little too much to come in for three nights and then head back. He's 83 years old and has some health issues.

Bruce Cowick declined. He too lives in BC. It's a haul.

Ted Harris, who moved back to Minnesota (after 40+ years of living in Blackwood, NJ), is 87 and he doesn't want to travel anymore.

So with Recchi being inducted. Does the Recchi stuff start at 12:30 and the game at 1?

There were two empty seats in the ten seats to the left of the podium. I assume one was intended for Van Impe.

Someone rolled in late, but they never gave a good look at him. What little I did see appeared to be a bit too much hair for Van Impe.

You have to give it to Joe Watson. Out of the group, his gait on the carpet out to center ice may have been the most vibrant.

Yes, Ed Van Impe was originally supposed to be in the ceremony as one of the Flyers Hall of Famers welcoming Recchi to the ranks.

Oh poop. I have no idea what sort of crosses you bear, or what kind of penances you may owe to the powers that be for your life's transgressions. But nothing, NOTHING is worth having to listen to that asshat for an entire game.

Yet another dumb penalty. Good thing they got 10 days off….Torts was steaming.

Good PK but there was no reason for Laughton to hook there. The defense had the rush covered.
