I think they’re trying to feel out konecny’s camp to see where they might come in at to see if how far apart they are before the deadline. They would get more for him if they move him this year

Thanks, Bill. I don't always watch the pressers and don't recall it being addressed. What is Torts' rationale behind the 11/7 lineup? If they really think they can make the playoffs, what is the point of wearing out the top forwards?

Glad it's an evening game, not another one of those dreaded afternoon starts.

Morning Bill. Have you had a chance to talk with Eresson or interview him about becoming the number #1 goalie. I guess where I’m going with this is, do you think he has the mental makeup to handle the pressure? To me he’s been the most pleasant surprise of the season so far. Would understand if you don’t want to talk about a players personality.

According to Tortorella:

1) He doesn't think any of the top 7 D deserve to sit out. Keeps Zamula in the lineup regularly.

2) Gives more ice time to the top forwards.

Yes. He's pretty laid back but a competitor. Phantoms burned him out by the late stretch drive last season but he made no excuses.

Pretty impressive that this group has been playing playoff style hockey this deep into the season.

That’s a long candle Tortorella has been burning at both ends.

What was his response. Saw it thanks. At this point this is on the GM for not taking the 11/7 option away from him.

There aren’t many forwards in this group who deserve more ice time lol. Coots coming off missing an entire season. TK supposedly banged up. The ignorance is astonishing

Absolutely. Now if they move TK and Laughton I wouldn’t have as much an issue with it but at the present moment, another plug signed for a couple more seasons. And we still have the corpse of ND laying around, brutal signing.

I don't mind the Poehling re-signing. He's still young and I think he can be a good 4th line center for this team. I just think they overpaid him a little.

he is not better. he is not a placement. he is a 4th line center. laughton is paid accordingly

if he was the replacement then Laughton should have been moved before the season started.

really want to see what the plan is here for ND. Will he retire? then take on a role in the organization to recoup the money he leaves on the table?

You’re trading a proven, capable NHL player for legit nothing then. A terrible use of assets

Why was he signed so cheap in the summer? You can find these guys every year.
