Tough call but maybe a little adversity is good for this club. |

Refing was an absolute clown show. 4 straight 5 on 3s? Give me a break. And they smoked them 5 on 5. |

With Tocchet raising the issue of getting scored on late in the 1st, on 2 occasions, I would think that he is a bit mad at Lefty's meatball line and everyone else's Norris defenseman. Sometimes the coaches have to take the responsibility for putting players who aren't really strong defensively, in those situations.
Anyways, on to the next game tonight. |

At the very least, Toc should have called a timeout during that flurry of goals and the parade to the penalty box. |

I'm just glad this is considered odd this year...last year...pretty normal on a smaller scale lol |

It was a strange day of hockey, after watching the canucks I went to the cougars tbirds game and watched the cougars filter the tbirds for 6 goals in the second period. |

The reffing sucked, but then they put themselves into positions where calls could be made, it's a game they should have won but their composure loss was the main reason they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. It's not like it gets easier tonight against Colorado. I tend to think this is where they have their first 3 game skid and then manage to salvage things in Seattle.

Thanks NYN. Canucks need to learn how to deal with adversity with composure for sure. I just don’t see anything of what happened or how they keep composure as habitual.
It’s fixable yes as a new level of handling game situations. The kind that don’t go their way. This is how you learn to win in the playoffs. |

I don't know why but lately he's been kinda sensitive and needs that sort of reassurance. I suppose this horrible 2 game skid is taking it's toll on all of us.
Thanks Newbsie. |

Maybe the refs were butthurt that Myers made that disrespectful comment about playing against 2 teams when the jets were whipping their heads around to draw penalties.
I hope Tocchet gets down right mean and hurts a few feelings because the team is playing like poop, they aren't owed anything and they haven't earned anything, time to suck it up and play hard aggressive hockey. |

Thanks York, but I'll pass on watching the recap, it was bad enough the first time. |

So pulling him in the 3rd period of a tie game? Ok. I think he'd have been better served benching Hughes and Hronek. |
