Thanks Trevor. Don’t really see the demotion as drama. Guy needed a message and taking icetime away is the best way to do that. He’s back on the big line again and has been a positive contributor. Huberdeau is over a point/ game and the Flames have a winning record since he arrived.
Trades need to happen so us fans can have something to get excited about. It’s probably the most excitement we’ve had in quite sometime.
Saw some trade proposals for Hanifin on Flamesnation and frankly they were quite underwhelming. I hope Conroy doesn’t use those as a starting point. Also as I stated before, Flames want a 1st for Tanev not the 2nd that others have said.

I am cautiously optimistic about the returns we will get. I like the direction the team is going, but I also don't see any returns that are going to get us top 5 picks. If this team ever wants out of the Murky Middle, they will need to get 2-3 of those.

Fun facts, the stat sites are all over the place about the Flames' playoff chances. Money Puck has them with the worst odds of the teams with a legit shot at 13.9%, The Athletic has them with a 16% shot with the Blues' someone at 8%.

But clearly the best and most accurate stats site, Stathletes, have the Flames with the best odds at 32.2%

There will not be as much scrutiny here for Kuz as there was in Van. Huska seems to be able to build players up slowly. It worked with Huberdeau, let's hope for the same with Kuz.

Yeah we have all done really stupid things. Thank god there were no cameras or phones in peoples pockets when I was doing the majority of mine.

If he wants to play again in the NHL he is going to have to show he has put in some personal work.
