Just handle your business and don't worry what the others are doing. It's kinda nice being chased instead of chasing.

I think 94 points should be the target. 11 or 12 more wins should do it.

Sandstrom didn't look super great, but a big improvement and upgrade over Cal.

Hopefully Felix stays up a bit to get some more starts to build more confidence.

My magic number is 26 more points (13 wins), less is going to be trouble with other teams with games in hand.

I didn’t even notice he was in net. Probably more so because the first period was pathetic from Ottawa, not many shots.

It’s beyond time to scratch Atkinson again. Zero points in last 12 games and minus -7 in those games. Minus -20 on the season. He obviously isn’t on the same page with Torts. Needs to go.

Philly is one of the biggest surprises this year. I don't see a ton of game but i want to say its my boy Torts getting the best out of everyone. Love that guy.

It’s pretty clear there will be no full-blown rebuild.
With that said, any interest at all in trading for Linus Ullmark? Turns 31 this summer, has one year left after this season at $5M cap hit. I’ve seen reports saying that Boston has some level of interest in Laughton, Walker, & Seeler. I’m not gonna bother proposing a specific deal. But would you have any interest if one of, or some combo of those 3 players were the only truly valuable assets the Flyers sent back? Or does Ullmark, and his contract status simply not fit?

With only one year, they can make it fit cap wise but if you're not getting him to be your future #1, why make that deal? I want Ersson to be the #1 until he proves he isn't or can't be in the future. If I'm trading those players, I'm doing it to try and gain a long term asset.

They're on the same page. In fact, Atkinson was THE biggest advocate in the room for hiring Tortorella in the first place and is the only player on the team whom Tortorella considers a personal friend. But he's really, really struggled since early November except for a six-game, 10-point (5g, 5a) oasis/mirage in mid to late January.

Atkinson is so easy to like as a person and has had a good career. He had also had a very long road back from the neck surgery that cost him all of last season. So I really hope against hope that he isn't totally finished. But the games he's played since the All-Star Breal have been very concerning. It hasn't been getting better.

Totorella deserves full marks for the team's greatly improved structure. He has also had some missteps. No coach is perfect.

Yea like the guy but he not only is not helping, seems he drags the line he is on. I would toss him with Coots and let them play their way through it, last chance really

I hear ya. Just been thinking that if the Flyers are indeed going to play for this season, I could see them trying to add a goalie. And I was trying to think who I could stomach seeing them spend assets on.
I like Errson. And agree that a team in the flyers position should probably take the approach you suggested, of letting be the #1 until he shows he can’t. But again, I have a feeling that they’re going to do something in goal.
Could have Ullmark, who is used to being in a tandem, around for next season. Use that as another prove-it year for Errson. If Errson is strong again next year, and a viable quality backup is an option, maybe trade Ullmark at next year’s TDL

Cutter is the real deal. Good size, skates well. Played on wing with Ryan Leonard and Will Smith. He took faceoffs on his side in both offensive and defensive zones. Scored a goal from a nasty wrist shot right off a faceoff. Went top shelf. Probably needs to add a little muscle/strength but i feel he could've played in NHL this year.

Will Smith has skill and good speed. That line created so many chances. He is average size and probably needs to add more muscle and strength. I heard he's going back to BC next year. Probably a good move.

Ryan Leonard is a skilled grinder if that makes sense. Finishes checks. Good hands. Good skater. He needs to mature for his game to translate at next level. The skill is there.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Cutter or Leonard get a few games after season ends. BC may go deep in tournament though.

Pretty sure the Flyers would be on Ullmark's no trade list, at this point why would he want to change from Boston to Philly?

Good Sandstrom for the W, it should help Errson, he thrived with Hart, having a solid backup to push him would be nice.

Unfortunately, Atkinson is that age where smallish forwards fall off. Not even taken into account the major injury last season. He should not be in a top 9 role.

Isles coming in hot and heavy with a favorable schedule and better play with Roy. Will be tough to hold them off.

Don't get ahead of yourself, this is the first 3 game win streak they have had all season. IF they maintain this for the rest of the season then there is cause for concern.

I am more worried about NJ, they are going to make moves to get better at the TDL. With a decent goalie they could be a cup team.

Cup team? Come on. Still have ruff behind the bench any goalie is going to have problems. They lack grit.

Didn’t realize he had any trade clauses.

My question stemmed from an article I read the other day about the Bruins and this TDL. Point was that the Bruins should be & would like to be buyers. But they don’t have much cap space and aren’t really looking to disrupt chemistry by moving any roster players that could create that space. They know that they can’t afford both goalies long term. So why not anoint Swayman, and trade Ullmark now. Would free up some cap to make an impactful add for this year’s run, and moving Ullmark would bring back value.
Article was basically proposing that if the Bruins were forward-thinking, they should strongly consider moving Ullmark. Article didn’t mention Flyers

Can’t fall in love with players. Unless you’re the coach/GM.

So what does Seeler’s extension come in at? 3x3?
