The Oilers aren't going anywhere in the playoffs with Bouchard on the 1st pairing and Leon Draisatl's zero effort.
Every second in the d-zone poor Ekholm just flies around cleaning up the mess and Bouchard doesn't leave the slot! He's flat footed most of the time and he doesn't even battle! Basically they're on the PK when Bouchard is on. (But he has a good shot! Haha

Draisaitl doesn't care at all if Edmonton wins a game, let alone a playoff game. Zero heart in this player. The play died with him at least 7 times tonight. He won't watch tape, he won't workout, he won't do anything to pick up his game...he does not care. It is obvious in his on ice effort.

I would love to see a corsi stat, when Drai and Bouch are both on the ice together.

Draisaitl will announce his intentions next year. If the Oil fall again in the playoffs, he’ll be looking elsewhere.

I agree about Bouchard. I've really been watching him every game and he makes so many defensive mistakes, passing errors, not able to hold the line when the team is in the offensive zone etc.

8 times out of 10 when a defenseman makes a mistake, especially a big one it's #75. He made that pass out from behind his net today that got intercepted and led to what would have been a goal if not for 2 spectacular saves by Pickard.

He should be on the 2nd pairing. He can't handle playing against top lines.
