Ample opportunity for Tortorella to push down Frost’s trade value. When is media day?
Briere can rest a bit easier. He will be directed on what he has to do this offseason and won’t have to think for himself. |

Flyers #1 center, Ryan Poehling played 19 minutes in the game. The most of any Flyers center. Can't believe the Flyers didn't win.

At least that Flyers work hard culture was re established. The alumni, and Flyer family will be proud.
12th overall. One player sold at the deadline, and two talented youngsters sat in a must win game.
Rebuilding. |

The Flyers went 0-for-1 on the power play. The Capitals did not receive a power play.
Does anyone know how long how many PP in a row the Flyers have failed to score. It feels like they are 0-30, maybe 0-35 to end the season? |

Brink and Frost playing around playing around an 1/8 of the game while the muckers of Poehling and Hathaway close to 18-19 minutes none of us should be surprised A goal was scored in a must win. |

Counting tonight I believe it's 0 for the last 24. |

Rigged game Torts pulled the goalie in a tie game when they were already eliminated with the tie in the Detroit game. That was more crooked than the soccer games in the Italy league with Juventus a couple of years ago |

Just backread some of the last thread. Flyers worst PP 3 years in a row, NHL record. Wow.
That's at least 2 negative league records they set or tied with Torts this year. No reason to expect they won't make it 4 next year.

Can't believe the Flyers didn't win. - MJL Shows how little you really know about the game if you aren't looking at one of your little stats books. He was actually one of the more noticable Flyers on the ice all night. If Frosty wasn't such a pudder he wouldn't have been benched. He won't be anything higher than a #3 center in this league, so he better brush up on his defensive positioning. I really thought he had turned the corner, but he really disappeared when the team needed him the most. |

Just stop already! I really have liked Brink's game more than Frost's down the stretch. Frost just doesn't have that competitive fire apparently and I'm not sure you can teach that. |

Absolute idiocy sitting three forwards for 30 minutes in this game. Nice job Joirts.
Briere needs to take charge here if he wants his tenure to amount to anything. Firing this dinosaur has-been coach (who was only brought in to save Fletcher's job) is an obvious step.
Rebuild the right way, or remain a laughingstock. And letting Jorts anywhere near a front office will ensure long-term mediocracy at best. Put him out to pasture so his horses (who apparently like him about as much as his players) can kick him in the face. |

Don’t leave the season in the balance with 3 seconds left. Weird things can happen and it did. |

Torts pulls the goalie to repurpose his checkers Poehling and Laughton as his offensive go to guys after being eliminated. Poehling with 31 career goals in 214 games with 3 of those coming in his first NHL game. Laughton a double cost Ryan Hartman clone who doesn’t finish nearly as much. It’s a great move if it works.

I wrote this weeks ago, if the flyers don’t make the POs they need to fire Torts and trade TK. They needed to do it anyways but now it is so obviously it in their face they can’t plead ignorance. |

Detroit fans must have been going bonkers when Torts pulled the goalie.

Erik Johnson came in and nearly willed this team to the playoffs down the stretch. Drysdale spins his wheels and passes the buck on the ice. Wow what a talent |

The Flyers brass most likely aren't going to see it that way. They are being run as a division of an entertainment company, not as a hockey team.
Interest in the team is up and so is merchandising so their time slot is safe and the show runners will be brought back for another year. Tune in same time, same channel next year.

Keith Jones acts like the so called rebuild is over while his manchild narcissist of a coach is running Poehling out there 19 minutes per game as his 1C.
It’s beyond comical at this point.
When this team drops to 75-80 points next season the looks of shock and confusion on the faces of Hilferty and the legion of authentics will be priceless.
