i guess it all depends on your expectations...

Yes he is overpaid, and yes he underperformed. but having another look.. was it reasonable to expect him to be a massive point producer this season? NO.

He went form an offensive minded team to one that focuses on defense.

As for playoffs, yes he took some dumb penalties, some of which were questionable. BUT he also drew a few penalties.

The reason we lost this series came down to the Kings inability to get a PP goal.

Top 10 in points, goals and assists on the third line with maybe 30 seconds of PP2 time playing with a revolving door of wingers almost every game. The only players who produced more were the top 2 lines and Doughty. He was playing with all-star caliber players and the top PP unit on the Jets.
