Go with Silovs he's been fine.
Put petey with Miller maybe he can finish on all the chances suter has been getting |

Tocchet: "[...]I know it's practice, but [Petey] scored a couple. He made a couple good plays because he was decisive. So, that's a good sign for us."
Hopefully a sign of a big game tonight |

Nashville is playing well defensively, however, between Miller, Pettersson, Garland & Hoglander they have one goal (Miller), all 20 goal or more players during the regular season. All of these guys need to find a way to put the puck in the net. Pettersson has two even strength goals since February 20th, that's just simply not good enough. |

Like the Tocc quote in the blog, they sort of over-corrected from the one game where they didn't hit the net. I think we're going to see a more direct game coming tonight. I expect a big(ger) game from Petey |

To no one's surprise, Miller is having a huge impact. I was impressed at how high up Garland is on this list though:

Pivotal game today, win and you move on, lose and then all the pressure is on you for Game 7 and even if you win then you'll have little to nothing left in the tank for Edmonton. |

We don't get passed Edm with Silovs. DeSmith is a hill to climb, we need Demko back asap. |

Agree get Suter back on the third line where he belongs. Critics have said Petey needs to 'carry his linemates' but playing with Hogs and Mik ain't helping him get off the schneid. Time for the Lotto line full time..at least for game 6 and see where it goes. |

The PP needs to carry the team because I don't think in Nashville that Petey is going to have enough room to do anything, even with Boeser and Miller 5v5. |

I think keeping Petey on his line is for the best. It's already a one-line team, you need to get a secondary attack going.
But yes, the power play really should be making a difference. If they don't get a goal or two from it it'll be what costs them the series. |

Thanks NYN.
I was watching the Tor Bos game last night and thinking about how so many teams/stars are struggling to get shots and goals.
Except Colorado and Oilers it seems. And NYR I guess.
Playoff hockey.
Anyways. Hope they can find a way today! |

It's just tuff sledding in the playoffs, it's a totally different game. Unless you're dealing with Draisaitl and McDavid who are some of the best playoff performers in the history of the game. Stats prove that!!
I too watched the Bruins vs Leaf game last night, Pastrnak couldn't get anything going, he just had no room out there and he's scored 150 some odd goals over the past three seasons. Still boggles my mind how so many clubs passed on him, including the Canucks who picked right before he was taken. The Bruins continue to haunt the Canucks, it's just the way it is....I know there's no god, but god I hate the Bruins. |

Went to go see who it was (McCann), but that was the Virtanen draft. When you look at the names drafted after him, it looks even worse they took Virt |

Benning is an embarrassment to the NHL society in general, his entire nine year body of work is drafting Demko in the second round, taking an undersized Quinn Hughes 7th overall where he was projected to go because of his size, being overruled and having to draft Elias Pettersson and trading for JT Miller. The guy is an absolute ass-clown. It took him nine years to do that.
Oh, and drafting Brock Boeser who the masses couldn't wait to get out of Vancouver fast enough, until this year. |
