I thought the problem in Toronto is defense, and there is not enough there to entice them to trade Marner. And even if they could get him, could they keep him?

You're right. That's what I've been hearin too. One reason I included their choice of our three ,close to NHL ready, D prospects. Really - they can pick any D not named Werenski, Jiricek, Mateychuk. By swapping the 1st rndrs at #4 OA they can draft one of the stud D that are supposedly NHL-ready. In KJ they get a #5OA pick who can play the wing, and have under team control for 4 seasons after this one. Then I'd add one of our 3rd rnd picks this year. It also leaves them a crap-load of cap space to add more pieces.
