Better question, did Don Waddell look good because of Eric Tulsky , or did he indeed get his act together and made some '' sensible'' moves for the Hurricanes. Let's not forget, the Trashers under Waddell were a bigger butt joke than the Jackets .....oh remember when he gave a 4.5 million dollar contract to Ron freaken Hainsey, Howson rarely looked good but boy did he look good on that one.

Little bit of both.
Canes make all decisions by committee but if Tulsky was the one setting the course, Don was the one steering the ship.
Waddell was also running point on securing the Canes a 25 year lease and the largest land development deal in Raleigh's history.
He's a genuinely great guy and was the driving force to turning the Hurricanes as a franchise around even before Dundon bought the team and supercharged that process.
