I've got to say the Oilers have been impressive. Being the the NY market I don't get to see them much, between the time difference and the NYC market saturation. Going into the series I didn't think you guys had a chance. Now you're in the drivers seat. |

It's still a little surreal that we are 3-2 in this series, there's been a lot of bad hockey between now and that 2006 run. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop but this isn't the Oilers team we had for 15 years. We have made the second round for the third year in a row and the third for 2 our of the last three and that's something maybe some people take for granted because they want more but only one team can win the cup and this is the hardest trophy in sports to win. The Oilers through all season were projected to win the cup or one of the top few teams with the best odds. I think it's funny we get to Dallas and everyone is like, Dallas is the deepest team and is going to win, and I know it's not over but even people are like well if Oilers win they can't beat either team from the East, but didn't we just say Dallas is the deepest team? I am a little afraid of Florida, they picked up some good pieces at the deadline and bobbo is playing great hockey still at 35 so hopefully he starts remembering his age. |
