As someone in a relationship with a woman who wants to get married, I can read this poop all day man.

$51.

And then you do that stupid "whoever at the table who has their birthday closest to today's date gets to keep the centrepiece."

Every guy would immediately dump the flowers and keep the smiley face coffee mug.

Blammo! ANGRY OLD MAN WEDDING PLANNING COMPANY just saved you $1,000, and made your event waaaaaaay more memorable than people walking away with crappy flowers in dollar store vases.

I could do this all day, Zezzie.

All franking day.

Goodrow on waivers in NY. Why would a team just get rid of such playoff grit for FREE?! Poor asset management.

Just reading someone else complaining about the conventions of weddings regulates my emotions.

I'm thinking practice-used Marlies pucks as centrepieces.

Okay. I'll tell her one of my hockey boyfriends convinced me easily. She'll love that.

Don’t blame them… $3.6 mill a year on a M-NTC for a couple more years. Just looked it up, even with a good playoffs he only got 12 points in 80 games during the season. Sometimes a buyout is necessary.

Cap mngmnt. He's a good 4th liner that got paid like a 3rd liner. Plus his contract was set up to make a buy out nots so bad.

Where does see one the order in which teams can grab waived players, and how is that order determined?

Thanks from your Leafy man Zezel.

I got married 26 years ago, and I'm still angry about the industry.

We were actually going to get hockey pucks as the bomboniere, but we ran out of time.

Instead, we just gave everybody a rockin' good time and a wicked hangover the next day.

Ek could probably be the officiant ...maybe even on Zoom or something. Wedgie's flowers, EK, ...this is coming together.

Honestly, biggest/funnest flex at a wedding that I've been at ....bride/groom had McDonalds fries delivered around midnight. The whole place went nuts with excitement. It's the simple things ...and salt of course.

So do we trade Bracco to the Sabres for Skinner (50% retained), or just wait for the Sabres to buy him out and then sign him to a hometown discount deal?

Reverse standings from the previous season, or if during the season is it the reverse standings at the time?

Great idea. My sources tell me you can now kiss the bride....more to come if you know what I mean....I was thinking wheeling out a street meat cart for a late night snack.

If it's during the season it's standings at the time - but it may be "from last Tuesday" or something like that. But definitely current(ish).

Solid food, good music, good beer and cocktails, 15 minutes of carefully crafted sentimentality, ..boom, good night. Only angry fat aunts and cousins and friends you'll never see again care about the other stuff.

3.5 million in dead cap space in 25/26 isn't all that good either. Plus you have to replace him.

I mean, if they just didn't overpay depth players or stars it would be fine.

Man I saw the posts from the other thread. I feel so taken when the speech at weddings begin with "We're so happy you could celebrate our day with us!"

It should be "Thanks for footing the bill. Between the stag, engagement party, bach, wedding cards we made out like BANDITS!"

Stupid Italian family....

Mrs. Wedgie had a relation (IIRC, her father's cousin) who worked for the Stratford Festival. She was a regular at a certain french fry truck in Stratford.

When she died, her friends who organized the funeral had the french fry truck come to the outdoor ceremony, and afterwards everyone got free fries.

And Cynthia Dale was there!

Late night sausage party? You can't miss with that. Plus those 2 really fun/drunk friends we all have will make sure all the guests appreciate that a sausage is shaped like a penis.

Poor asset management. Didn't even get anything in return! Now they can sign some top 6 winger and a bottom 4 defender with all that space.
