Matt Roy is a good trouba replacement. Not sure I like chytl as 3c. Don’t trust his durability.

Think kakko is goner for sure

Would be on board with Roy but he is going to get a significant deal from someone.

Heard Josh Manson could be available. About 1/2 the price of Trouba, I believe. Would the Avs trade him to sign Walker?

Congratulations Artemi Panarin. What a magnificent season.
He did it all, all year long. Rangers won the President's Trophy on his shoulders.

If it’s just moving up in the draft and trading Kakko to do so, I’m not on board with that.

If it’s to get a guy like McGroarty or someone similar, I could get on board with it.

Adding Kane isn’t the right move. We need to get more physical and adding Kane, losing Trouba and keeping Chytil as the 3C makes this team MUCH easier to play against.

Not sure I like the direction some of these rumors are headed to be honest.

Pretty much where I’m at. Kakko should be worth a late first by himself. Fine with a player swap too, but using him to move up in the draft is silly.

I’d be fine with Kane if it’s 2 years, but he’s a PP performer which isn’t really needed. Already need to find a way to get Laf on PP1. Hoping something completely off the board goes down to address the more obvious 5v5 needs.

They most likely replace trouba and Gus will some more physical defenseman. Othmann is an option on line 3. Id much rather Stamkos over Kane if they can swing that

Kakko isn’t worth a late first at all anymore. Maybe a 3rd at this point

Moving KK at this point would be counter productive. He is still a young, solid third liner, who is solid defensively and who the team knows, there is still a chance he could produce when put in the right situation. Trading him for a third rounder would be utterly ridiculous.

I agree Kakko is likely dealt today (or tomorrow). I can see Drury getting a 2nd rounder this year and a third next year for him.

I wouldn’t trade him for that. That’s just his worth. I wouldn’t trade him to move up in the draft either.

I’d prefer to trade him in a larger package for an nhl player

If the rumor is to go from 30 to 14 Kakko would get added, that means he’s worth a late 1st. Bc no way in hell you’re going from 30 to 14 with a 3rd rounder added. 2 firsts (or the equivalent) moves you up to 14.

Well Sharks already traded up from 14 to 11th overall and Buffalo dropped to 14. Looks like Sharks have somebody in mind with that second 1st round pick

Just using 14 as an example bc that was the rumor. Kakko is worth more than a 3rd no matter how much we don’t like his progress.

Rangers also have no 2nd or 3rd round picks for the next 3 years it seems lol. I am cool adding some of those too. Not to draft but those are very valuable come trade deadline time

Come on. So Kakko + 30 to move up four spots and add another second. No thanks

"Drury expressed interest in Tanner Jeannot leading up to the 2023 deadline before the Predators were able to extract an enormous price —five draft picks, including a first and second, plus a young defenseman — for the physical winger from the Lightning.

Tampa Bay is looking to move on from the 27-year-old Jeannot, who has one year left on his contract at a $2.75M cap charge ahead of unrestricted free agency. If Jeannot is available as a distressed asset, it could work for the Blueshirts."

Is he that bad or was the trade for him originally just awful for what he brings

Trouba for Holl

This will finish the secret 3 way deal that got SJ to claim Goodrow as a work around for his NTC.
