Following up on the previous thread, the Rangers dont need to wait for the Trouba thing to happen to make moves and sign guys. Theres no salary cap to abide by.

Jan you saved me a lot of writing about T. We forget they are human because it’s a business. I have always been a fan of his. Yes a down year and maybe injuries had a lot to do with it. I will be sad to see him go if he does. He has represented the rangers well. But all and all its the business.
I regards to free agency, the rangers need to stop chasing older players past their prime. Maybe stammer is somebody I would take a flyer on only if the price is right. Time to sprinkle in some of our kids in the AHL.
