Knies (drafted in the 2nd round) is a loser?

Why did you change your team from Leafs to Red Wings?

The only way this franchise moves ahead quickly is a Sidney Crosby desire to pursue another CUP but not in Pittsburgh They could get a Kings ransom for Sid and fast track their way back. You have to know that it is all up to Sid He is very competitive and has the desire to win another CUP But that WILL NOT happen here Time for both Sid and the Penguins to do what is best for both. I would love to see Sid on a team trying to win another Cup That would be a great story and highly entertaining and Sid would be the focus again of the NHL. He deserves it and should pursue it Just going on here without a snow balls chance of winning is a waste of his final years as a player
DO IT SID WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU NO MATTER WHERE YOU PLAY YOU EARNED another KICK AT THE CAN

We're about to get a ton more dumb posts about how trading our late 30s stars would be able to kick off our rebuild, aren't we? A little late for that.

Really gonna kick start a rebuild trading 37+ players with full NMC…not sure they’d get much more for Sid than they did Guentzal

If he's willing to do it, you also have to weigh the value of Crosby in your locker room. Most of these guys idolized him. So they're going to take note of his work ethic and attention to detail and it might rub off on some of the next generation. It seems to have already made an impression on Yager who spent a lot of spare time working on faceoffs after Crosby spent some time coaching him up on them.

Letang, Rust, and Pettersson are also guys young players could pattern themselves after. Letang's work ethic is also amazing. Rust and Pettersson are great examples of players who had to adjust and work through adversity to become the top of the lineup players they are now.

It makes good business sense for both parties You just lack COMMON SENSE
I would leave it entirely up to SID If he wants to waste the rest of his career floundering on a mediocre team OK BUT if he wants to pursue More Cups than I say go for it It has been discussed on TSN So why don't you go play in traffic and I hope you get splattered

You are just plain STUPID Teams that have a chance to win a Cup would jump at the opportunity and Sid would have to approve the trade Best way to quickly recoup what they have given away in the past and speed up the bridge to the future If you do not see it you are like a Democrat that cannot see that Biden has dementia

What does "best at his age" have to do with it? Mario Lemieux is probably the best player at his age but not sure there's much demand for his services.

But yes, he would command a staggering return. RANDOM CAPS BIDEN FAT WALLET SYNDROME

If you paid attention to what anyone else said, you'd know Matt, myself, and many others have said exactly that. Sid has the right to make his choice. And so far, he's choosing to stay in Pittsburgh. So end of discussion?

As long as you use age as a qualifier, it doesn't matter. BECAUSE of his age, he won't command as great of a return because he's a threat to decline at any time.

To further what I said, most of the prospects came out before practice just to watch Sid skate. And even when most of them left, one player stayed until the end: Brayden Yager. Keeping Sid around will pay some dividends

Matt Rempe has Adam Oates as a skills coach, Gary Robert’s as a personal trainer and BLG as a fighting coach. Why can’t Pit draft players with this amount of dedication at making an NHL career?

If Rempe was really dedicated he’d be getting hand transplant surgery so he doesn’t suck at hockey.
