2. Nurse is a bum. This would be up there with the forsberg - erat trade for terrible trades. I’d rather be stuck trying to make a good player fit in the cap than a still expensive scrub work for slightly less. I’d rather ek65. At least he is the best at what he does and can mostly be balanced by a good stay at home partner.

I really dont see a way Florida and Edmonton deal after the playoffs and if Zito takes on Nurse his credibility instantly takes a huge blow. I dont see any way that this rumour was any more then someone stirring pots

Ekblad sucks but Nurse sucks more. I hate this trade.

Ekblad is decent, but not worth more than $4mm per. Tallon messed up there trying to lock in some guys to create stability. They have him play out his contract and resign someone else in FA in offseason as no one out there is going to take his contract. The way he gets beat is dead on like Brooks Koepka highlighted with the traffic cone. Yes, Ekblad your team won the cup (very HAPPY as a fan) but recognize your issues and work on them.

I think he will be insulted resigning for $4mm or less so he will move on. Maybe there is some trade that is too good to be true you have to jump on for him...i doubt it. OEL was far better than Ekblad this past season and Schmidt will show the same.

I'm still in disbelief that someone with limitless funds and limitless access to ice can be that poor of a skater. Get the man a skating coach for crying out loud. Without ever seeing the jersey # or any player indicators I can always tell when its Aaron chasing down a puck or player.
