I will believe it when they prove it. No more great starts then falling flat…or vise-versa.

I hope he gets the triple crown but going to be hard to catch witt on batting average

Weird how Witt has so many more AB then Judge. Only played like 2 more games.

judge has 88 walks vs 34 for witt and they do not count as AB's

On paper, in my opinion, our blueline could be one of the strongest in the NHL.

We need a lot to go right. It's the 5th year of The Hope Plan! And it really needs to start working.

as long as power is a wussy and samuelsson is a soft pillow on IR half the time, we can only hope to be mediocre

clifton did play well the last half of the year and I think Joker was our second best in our own end

I prefer the GM fix the issues instead of hoping things will somehow work out. Seems like Yzerman is hoping for a miracle too with that crappy defense he didn't fix. Hoping that Seider can carry whatever 3rd pair plug they put with him. Hoping that somehow a rookie like Edvinsson can carry whatever 3rd pair plug they put with him on the 2nd pair. I think that hope is going to turn into another year of no playoffs.

Thanks for the 3rd grade assessment of a hockey team.

The Sabres are soft, this is known.

The GM is legitimately a mental patient.

The owner is a dud.

Samuelsson is interesting in several ways
-1st and foremost is his injury history severely limits his contributions over a full season.
-he is a giant that chooses to play a lighter game than his natural physical presence should dictate
-his on ice results are markedly better with certain players who play down the lineup than playing 1st Pair with Dahlin...Power, Greenway, Benson, Cozens to be more specific. He should not be paired with Dahlin, nor play with Tage and Tuch on a regular basis.
-relative to the first bullet, he needs to learn an odd combination of increasing physicality into his game while protecting his body from the injury bug. Maybe reduce blocking shots and exposing himself to tough hits when retrieving the puck. Better to dish-out body crushing hits rather than absorbing them.

His on ice results and and Contract should push him into being Power's partner and playing in a rotation with their L2 and L3 teammates. Dahlin's effectiveness is reduced playing with Power, find another P1 teammate for Dahlin...leaving Byram as the choice.

Joker will need to be traded by seasons end to maximize his asset value given he is a UFA on July1st. Unfortunately, he will need to play on the left given that Cliffy absolutely sucked there last season until he and EJ switched sides.

Recommended D Pairings:
Byram - Dahlin
Power - Samuelsson
Joker - Cliffy

Samuelsson has surprised me, he was much more physical in College and USDL. Was it Wilford that slowed down his Physicality because of his Injury issues.
