I can't see Abols playing above the fourth line, so that would mean Poehling goes back to the top six to top nine like he was in the late portion of last season (depending on the usage within a game). I'm not personally in favor of that, but I'm hearing stuff about how there's more offense just waiting for Poehling to unlock (on more than a very sporadic basis). So it's not impossible.

I think Rizzo is Peter White.

He will be very good at lower levels but not quite good enough to be in the NHL.

all good giving RP time to see what his lid is, he is young and has the skating and has flashed skill. Torts does him no favor treating him with more respect than other players. I hope RP takes a step forward and proves Torts right.

Also if the PP struggles badly in the first 6 weeks. You see them making a PP coaching change?

Not sure I believe this….but heard at a golf Tourney last week that Flyers are in on Zegras. Some of the guys saying it know guys that would know….so another way of saying it is I know a guy who knows a guy who might know a guy.
I’m not sold on the player per say, but found it interesting.

To be fair he was a 1rst round pick who came out with offensive upside attached to his name. I like him as the 3rd line C.

Just repeating what he told me. I will say again, Jett Luchanko, Denver Barkey and Carson Bjarnason all played strong games Saturday afternoon. Very much involved. Jett and Danver were more than willing to hustle back to defend. Both chipped in offensively.

those types have organizational value. though when rated that high that isn't all that good.

no idea what to expect from him though will be interesting watching.
