Looked up Cody Glass fight on YouTube. Found a bunch of videos of him laying on the ice after clean hits. Another Vag for team coward. Go chase a cup Sid.

I like this trade better than the Hayes one.

But Glass, Acciari, and Eller I’m assuming will all be flipped for mid round picks at the deadline. If Dubas can snag another 2025 2nd and 3rd round pick for those guys, then job well done.

Can only imagine Pettersson would bring back a late 1st as well. Team could end up with 6+ picks in the first 3 rounds next year

Uh oh I see the setup now...

Penguins "win" the lottery in 2026...could they get that "lucky" ball for a spot in the top 3 in 2025 too....

They'll try to move Hayes, Glass, Acciari, Eller, Beauvillier and Grzelcyk at the TDL, so they'll be flush with mid round picks in the upcoming years. Depending on Blomqvist's development, one of the goalies will be moved next off season as well. Will be interested how the team looks in October 2025.

Def curious how they intend to deploy all these guys. Lots of people for the bottom 6 and bottom pair.

*IF* Ned does what he did last season, I can definitely see him being the one that gets moved. Let Jarry hold onto the starting role for the next few years as the team allows 4+ goals per night during the rebuild. Ease Blomqvist in with the other young players. By the time Jarry’s contract is up, the team will be in a full youth movement and Dubas should have the cap space to fill the roster

Dubas brings crap players in thinking he'll get value for them? Should have asked the core if they wanted out? By the looks of what dubas brought in. The core should be begging to be traded. 1 core player seems to be thinking extremely hard about signing again. I would also.

I like the Glass trade. I feel like people have discussed him as a potential trade target in the past. He is still young. Has some defensive skill. I am a bit interested in what the lines are going to look like. Especially the bottom 6.

Beauvillier - Crosby - Rust
Bunting - Malkin - Rakell
DOC - Hayes - Glass
Eller - Lizotte - Acciari
Puljujarvi

Pettersson - Karlsson
Grzelcyk - Letang
Graves - St. Ivany

DOC maybe gets swapped with Beau. Maybe Eller or Acciari gets traded for picks prior to the season? Maybe Dubas makes another trade.

I feel bad for Puustinen I think he gets sent down or traded prior to the season.

Should be seeing more trades. Pens have 51 contracts with a limit of 50. Someone told me 52 but I checked puckpedia. Anyway something gotta happen.

And it was the last time that the All Star Game was worth paying attention to at all.

Also, he was not just an "All Star," he was "All Star Game MVP."

John Scott was an "all star MVP"? This explains why I haven't watched any all star games..NFL or MLB..I could've sworn I watched a commercial with a hockey player in a suit with sunglasses on? Ridiculous

I'm not going to say give them a chance but I have always said that Sullivan always seemed to squeeze a lot of juice out lacklustre rosters, when stars went down with injury, and seemed to get a lot out of younger guys. Ironically, he usually opted for vets over young guys over the years but this season there isn't as much opportunity to do that.

What I will say is that it wont surprise me one bit if this team performs better than most think it will. Conversely, it wouldn't surprise me at all if they are in the basement, either haha.

The only thing I’m taking from all this is this isn’t the place I want to see the core retire. Go compete boys, your time here is done.
