Can you really call it a sophomore slump if Sillinger has already played almost three full seasons? A two-year deal at $2.25M can't/won't look bad regardless of what he does. It's basically a non-issue and can pretty much only look good. If he's completely useless, you sit him down or demote him to a lower line and you replace him with either another player or go get one with the extra cap space available.
