Maybe it isn't every game, but feels like anytime I look, Malkin's line is getting caved in, especially with Bunting. He kind of needs that two way player to pick up his slack defensively at this point.

At this point you’d think Sullivan should feel free range to experiment and try some different things. Unless just keeping everything cookie cutter status quo is part of his deal to be untouchable.

Friedman thinks that we will be in on Kirby Dach. If he could ever stay healthy, he could turn into a good 3C/servicable 2C. Seems worth taking a shot on if the price is low.

I'm probably the only one, but I think Karlsson would make a ton of sense for Montreal, and I've also made it clear how much I want to get Mailloux.... so lets get out there and make a deal Dubas. I don't think Montreal needs more draft picks as they have a bunch and they are looking to turn the corner and start winning.

I think dach would be the most prudent move then. Put him at 2C. Malkin to 1LW. Sid and Geno can rack up points and dach would have to be an upgrade over Hayes or anyone else on this team.

The concern with him is that he has had a great opportunity in both Chicago and Montreal, where the ice time was there for the taking and he hasnt been able to run with it. Part injuries, part not surrounded with enough talent and part his personal underperformance.

As our roster is structured now, its hard to imagine him coming here and all of the sudden figure it all out. I'd still be interested in finding out though, maybe a Bunting-Dach-Rust/Rackell line could be decent?

I would feel more comfortable having him than anything else we have is all. Sounds like Pitt is linked to everyone now that we are a bottomfeeder. Being linked to hoglander as well now. I could see that most likely as they need Petterson with hronek out although i dont see the need for a struggling undersized LW.

Erod should have never been bumped from Sid’s line for Guentzel when he came back from injury. Dude is playing with Barkov and still has the puck every shift.

I would go
Malkin-Sid-Pullharvey
Rakell-Lizotte-Rust.

ERod and Gaudreau are two guys I never really understood us walking away from. Happy for the success Rod has had there in Florida.

Wow this guy RW shows more and more how little he knows about hockey. Comparing this Dubas led Pens team to the Bruins is laughable. Like they’re in the same boat . Stop.

Can’t stop laughing when RW tries to make the case that Dubas came here for a rebuild. No he wasn’t trying to go for it with the move that you loved. You know the EK move that also rid the pens of that terrible Grandlund contract. He is horrible and that 5 million terrible right RW.
Too bad Grandlund has outscored the 10 million dollar man by far last year and is doing it again this year
