not solely directed at you...but i am so (frank)ing sick of hearing how tight/close/up their own asses/butt(frank)ing eachother "the group" is.

this "group" has won (frank)ing nothing. NOTHING.

100% I don’t blame Drury one iota for being fed up. You name the guy and he has every right to be fed up with him.

Not talking about the youth tho, talking about the staples of the team who’ve been around looking like for too long now

The way Drury moved Goodrow and botched the Trouba trade doomed this team. It is/was a very tight knit group. Even though Drury is trying to be savvy and make business decisions, he has taken zero account of how the locker room will be affected. To me, that misstep doomed this team. I don't know how he turns this ship around. The entire NHL is aware, and Drury will be hard pressed to be able to make trades where others aren't going to take advantage of the poopshow he created. Yes, these players are professionals, but this isn't 1970. Most are millionaires, and get butt hurt very easily. It seems that in their minds Drury broke some unwritten rule in regards to how he went about things, and now this team is truly fuuuuucked! This might be cause for a complete rebuild

I totally agree w/ you that they've done nothing that actually matters. Problem w/ construction of this lineup is that they are too close, and seem to have forgotten that ultimate goal is to win a cup, and not win a cup w/ their buddies. They are all very GAAAAAAAAAAAAAY

Maybe they're just not as talented, collectively, as everyone thinks they are? You can't win without depth at center, Zibanejad looks old, entitled, and disinterested and Trocheck is right behind him.

Do we even want this team to win with this current roster? They have proven over the years to not be good enough and now the lack of effort and attention to detail is showing they won’t magically become good enough. Winning now would only cause false hope and maybe make Drury make a dumb trade at the deadline to try and buy again. They need new faces in this locker room. They need legit changes. Not another depth piece for a potential playoff push. Rip the bandaid off now and start restructuring this roster

Talent isn't the issue, but at this level 90% of winning has to do with heart....something this team doesn't have enough of

The talent is there. Everyone expected regression but Tro zib kreider fox Igor panarin miller Trouba Lindgren all down years. Can’t win that way

The biggest problem they have on the ice is the D is slow, soft and not very big. That’s a terrible combo of things to have back there

Rangers have plenty of talent/skill up front even with the older guys losing a step. Trocheck is still a bargain for what he brings, I’ll stand by that all contract long. He at least shows a pulse of emotion and being pissed off on occasion

I’d give Drury til the deadline to get us out of this mess. If he can pull it off by shedding salary, keeping the youth, and getting back some assets and fresh faces I think he stays. I don’t think this needs to be a long rebuild, the kids are ready to take the reins. Shesty is the big unknown, if not signed by the deadline he has to go.

Devils look damn good, healthy, when Jack Hughes and Dougie Hamilton are healthy they are tough, they didn't have that a lot last year

I tend to agree, but have a feeling this is gonna be a looooong depressing season.

Haven’t heard much about this draft class. Is this a good year to suck?

the biggest question the Devils will have is Hughes staying healthy, if he does this division is theirs I think, but making through 4 rounds of playoffs, it's hard to see it with this kid
