I keep asking myself do we really want them to turn it around or attempt to? I think this core is just cooked and it’s time to blow it up as far as they can. Just need some new blood in that locker room. Winning games now will just create false hope or stop what needs to be done

I hinted at that here in the column:
"It's gotten so bad that the Rangers are being trolled by the opponent's social media team, which likely is allowed to travel with the team, unlike New York's"

They Mae two ECF in three years. Likely should have won in 2022. Easy to forget that now. How many teams in the league would be ecstatic with that kind of performance?

What are we supposed to do, give the coaches 1yr contracts and just have a revolving door since thats all the patience they have for coaches…?

I disagree with that whole heartily. If we didnt play 3rd string goalies and Trouba knocking Sid out, we dont get out of the first round and if not for Igor standing on his head, we are out in the second round against the Canes. Some players just dont have that drive to win, its been exposed in the past.

But they made it. Yes, they had help along the way in 2022 and rode Igor in both years., But they were there. it's throwing out the baby with the bathwater. The team had warts and had to be better, no one is disputing that. While I am embarrassed right now, if you don't those runs brought pride and good vibes, then you are just focusing on the negatives.

Its Cup or bust for me, you know that, Since the letter 6 years ago we had 3 GMs, 4 coaches s first and second overall picks and an incredible player turnover. What do we have for it?? No Cup final appearances and a dumpster fire now which is burning out of control. The Devils are taunting us with those meme's!! Im so pissed, its not even funny!!!

Drury is a moron for what he traded Kakko for. Idc what anyone else thinks, he’s an idiot. Kakko was not the problem and once again he got fleeced in a trade.

I'm not sure I get this team right now. Three years ago, we play amazing hockey under Gallant. The following year, we struggle, can't get past NJ in the first round and Gallant was fired (although there was more behind-the-scenes stuff than we probably know with that). Last season, you bring in Laviolette. He brings this team to the best record in the league (most points ever in NYR history) and the team plays well, until the Panthers series. This year, we start off well, and then we hit rock bottom. Is it Drury? Is it Laviolette and his staff? Is it the players? I think we know it falls on all of them. Most of the roster and coaching staff are the same as last season. I am sure coaching styles have not changed much. Yes, Drury (and his team) could have handled things better. If I don't like how my boss and upper management are handling various scenarios at my job, I either suck it up and still do my job, or I leave. As a player, live up to what you are being paid for or be professional and speak with management about wanting to be elsewhere. If the players are purposefully playing crappy to spite management, well shame on them. To all the fans who pay a lot of money to go see their favorite team play, WE are the ones being screwed, especially when the effort is not there and everyone makes the same mistakes day-in, day-out. For what it costs a fan (let alone a parent who wants to take their children) to attend a game, WE deserve better. Someone better fix this before someone flies an indoor blimp asking this dumpster fire to be fixed by Dol.......oh right, no fan would ever ask him to do anything. Never mind.

I mentioned it before...

3 consecutive years of epic blunders in the playoffs after being up 2-0 in a series... at some point you wonder, are these losses affecting the players. Do they, genuinely in the deepest part of their soul believe (anymore) that the team that they have can win a Cup? Because if they dont, then these are the results of a bunch of players, mainly the established core, who dont care... have given up... just going through the motions.

Personally, I think its time to shut down Fox. Hes not skating well and hasnt since the injury, without it, he is not himself. Tear the rest of it down, keep the few good parts.

As a GM you want to make the team stronger, Waving Goodrow, saved Cap space but we lost a playoff performer, trading Trouba, lost one of the very few hard hitting intimidating defense man and now we are easier to play against, traded KK for nothing who was having a better year with possession numbers and clearly wasnt the reason for this slide, I dont see how these moves have made us a better club.

Who would trust this team if we trade a few prospects and draft picks for another over the hill star player plug?

If Drury thinks he can save this season and trades for a guy like JT Miller, I might have to be done with this organization until Drury is gone. Just an absolute idiot at the wheel right now.

Its so odd, we had the right kinds of players, but screwed the pooch on everything else related to them.
