A good change of pace from the usual "hohoho" we heard the past few weeks, I like it.

tks Hugo!
yep, Habs are finally playing up to par. they are currently exactly where many tought they would be a year ago (drafting 10th +/-).
so yes, that is progression. it took 12 months more than expected but who's counting.

like I said last night, I think they'll have to look elsewhere for a #2C. I don't think Dack is that guy. so it will be Demidov or they will need to trade for one.
will they keep Dach as a winger or package him? that is probably the most important question management will have to answer before going in the draft and July 1st.

Is Demidov C or is he a winger? Agree Dach had no IQ for C, Buffalo has Cousens and Thompson but would they trade and what is the package

They drafted him as a winger and Im pretty sure this is where he plays as of now. Might have been a C before that.

He has the whole year and most likely part of next season to show he can fill that role.

I think what he's shown lately is encouraging and I'm willing to wait until I write him off.

I wouldn't trade for Cozens, his contract is too big of a risk imho.

he's not a bad player, will likely get better, but I do not think he has the hockey IQ to play center. that won't change within the next 18 months.

they'll certainly think about it. what would he gain going back to college?
he'd either play in Mtl or Laval.

I assumed he would be here by then. Will most likely start as the third or 4th C. Depending on if they bring back Evans or not. Might need time in Laval, who knows?
