Seth Jarvis.. what’s up with that? He sucks.

Binnington sucks. Go with Hill.

Marner and Crosby should be the top line.

Binnington made some huge saves in OT.

And let in some bad ones before that.

I feel more confident going with Hill.

He won a cup more recently.

You know how when you give the puck away you are usually the hardest backchecker?

Binnington did put them in that mess by allowing 2 pretty weak goals. That goal by Brodin had serious aroma and the goal by Kempe from that far out shouldn't go in - it was basically about 10 feet further back than the Marner shot - which was fortunate for us, but shots from that far back should be handled by an NHL goalie about 95% of the time.

Regardless I agree that his save on the one-timer - by Zibanejad, I think - on the 2-on-1 in OT was really nice.

None of them are really good.
Binn - 2.89 gaa sv% .897 39 games
Hill- 2.64 sv% .900 34 games

One plays in front of a stud line up...the other doesnt.
I dont care who they go with, but your notion that one is much better than the other, simply isnt true.

Good god it should not take 2 hrs with a snow blower to take care of a double width / 2 car driveway + a single car driveway after snowblowing at 10pm last night..........but it did.

Stupid Lake effect snow, drifting etc.

I don't know how you guys do it in that frozen wet slick poop. Driving on those roads would terrify me.

I grew up outside St. Louis as a kid, but have never driven on frozen roads as an adult.

I don't get how all life and commerce doesn't grind to a total halt when it's near-blizzard like conditions or the roads are frozen over with sheets of ice.

I drove a short distance in sleet in Tennessee back in 2002 and my bumhole was puckered up tight enough to make diamonds and I only went a short distance of about 10 miles one way.

Snow tires, AWD / 4x4 and low gears. EasyPZ.

That sounds like McDavid talking about scoring goals - making it sound a lot easier than it seems.

I guess you just get used to it and adapt. I'd probably hop a couple of curbs or dent a few fenders before I got the hang of it. Do NOT let me drive your car in the winter.

When it's all you know, and you learn to drive in it that's part of it (i.e. you are forced to drive in it when your learning) it just becomes 'normal' for the winter.

Snow tires make a huge difference and not being a knob on the roads too by adjusting your speed to meet the conditions and not trying to pass snow plows etc.

I was in Nashville one time and the guy driving the hop on hop off bus thingy we were on told us they got and inch and a half one year and it shut down the entire city for 2 or 3 days. I guess having no plows or sand trucks etc. would do that.
