wednesday should be a good one - with washington stumbling a little bit in last couple of weeks. 5-3-2 in their last 10.

will tell us a lot about who this team is post miller deal

two biggest problems right now:

-Lafreniere has never looked more lost

-too many men on the ice penalties

his confidence is shot - just watch his zone entry on a rush. he doesnt do anything, other than some to a glide and look to pass immediately.

and when he does shoot, it's almost into row ZZ every time.

The biggest difference is how Mika legit looks like a totally different player. I don’t know if something happened but the guy is throwing his body in front of pucks and playing like the selke player we know he can be. It’s crazy what confidence can do. We know what this team is capable of when they put in the effort.

K’Andre Miller now looks like a player we should keep around honestly. Him and Borgen look great together.

As you all know, I have constantly written, confidence begets confidence and doubt begets doubt. We need the Laf from the first three weeks of the season

yeah, that whole thing came across as Lafreniere's very very unhappy right now and everybody knows it

not unhappy as a Ranger, just as a player in general, feeling the pressure of the money, the New York pressure cooker, etc

Maybe the trade deadline too. He just saw the other 2 members of the kid like get moved this season. Hopefully once Friday passes some of the stress can come off. As a young player it has to mess with you some

Lindgren traded. Fox hurt. It’s almost like there is nothing to talk about anymore

For reals tho, Rangers turned the corner, so now it’s a 20 game sprint with like 6 other teams. And never thought in a million years devils could be caught but that’s a possibility now too

Outside of Reilly smith I feel like one more trade could happen too before Friday. Not sure who though

This was almost a really nice sentiment.
If your moms ever made poutine from scratch, you'd be missing her, too!!

For what it's worth, I thought Laffy looked better last night. Not what he could be, by any means, but better. In the small things like body language, 1st strides, being where he should be, etc... Here's hoping there's a Mika-like resurgence building as we speak!!

I feel like at least we have a clear direction to the rest of the season now, at least. No more worries about a free-fall to the bottom. We need to push to make the playoffs. Not because of the chip-and-a-chair mentality of that longshot for a Cup, but to give the Penguins the worst draft pick we can THIS SEASON and keep the one in next year's stronger draft. Also, to give the young guys another (or first) taste of playoff hockey and the fight it takes to get there and better knowledge of what they need to become.

I guess they could package a few things together for a 3C. They simply can’t trade the one first rder they’ll have the next two drafts.

Just wonder what happens with Kaliyev now maybe they can find a team that wanted to claim him. He’s got skills but no where to play here. Parsinen too. Idk what the plan is there. He hasn’t done much in two games.

You figure by the looks of it Othmann, Berard and Perrault are more then likely untouchable at the present time

Moving Parsinen after playing under 24 minutes of hockey for our team would be absolutely senseless. Unless he was a throw away add on to the trade that they were forced to take. I don't think that's the case, so you have to give the guy a legitimate shot to prove what he's worth. IMO.

That line has looked better the last two games. Laf at least 2 points in the last 3 games.
