Huberdeau and Kadri are absolutely horrible in OT and the shootout wow sharky needs to sit a couple games time to give the young guys more chances in OT and shootout

It’s so strange how NHL coaches approach OT. Huberdeau is fine, but he shouldn’t be on the ice for almost half of the five minutes every time.

Fine ? He’s a huge defensive liability just like Kadri they are terrible in OT if they don’t score they sure as hell get scored on it’s hard to watch how bad they are at 3on3

They were your only 2 forwards that were really hopping yesterday. They looked just fine to me in OT. Bahl had a good game as well. I see no problem with playing the guys that played well in regulation, in OT. That game would have never made it there without them.

You may have changed my mind, Load Man.

Huberdeau botched the Dallas OT, so there are some hard feelings.

It’s frustrating how bad they’ve been at points, but this is what they got and they’re rolling with it.

Fair enough. I fully understand when big ticket players don't perform up to their pay grade. Last night's OT could've went either way though. Wolf got handcuffed on a couple of the shootout shots after playing pretty well and that was the difference between 2 points and 1.

From what I saw, aside from the huge push in the 3rd by the Canucks, there's actually a lot of similarities in how both teams played.

Too many similarities. This wildcard race has been so strange.

What is going on with Nils Hoglander? Dude could be the difference, but he seems like a complete passenger lately.

He seems to be picking it up in recent games. But spent quite a bit of time earlier in the season getting the warts coached out of his game. (Aka The Doghouse). Like a lot of players, he needs to shoot more. At the game there were a lot of both teams' fans with the same complaint. Guys get into a good position to shoot and for whatever reason don't pull the trigger. I don't know if it's fear of giving up possession, but it's frustrating to watch.

Thanks Trevor!

My problem with Hubs in OT are those thread passes he tries to make that need to go through two opposing players shin pads. It works in beer league hockey, but not in the NHL.

Hughes and EP found a way to win. Van fans should be happy.

Calgary has to find a way to win on this road trip. Not going to be easy.
