Roll the kids. Dont need to see any more of Brown or the plugs. Get Merkulov, Lysell and Poitras some NHL time. Nothing left to lose now. Start getting the young guns some looks with pasta and the regulars. |

Couldn't agree more. The whole "anything can happen" IF by some miracle they got in is a load of crap. This team is doing nothing this season. Bring up Minten as well and Dipietro. Send Swayman down and let him play in the AHL where he currently belongs to see if he can get himself right. |

I agree with everything except Swayman. Dont send him down. He demanded money, and he can go out there and continue to humiliate himself if that is what he wants. Bring DePietro up for a few starts here and there, but roll Swayman. Give him several starts in a row. Ride him. Make him earn his money which he gets paid anyway (up or down) since the season is lost.
Next year if he falters early, then send him down. This year, make him play. He wanted to get paid like a top goalie. If he cant turn it around at this level and at least provide average goaltending on a crap team, well then a trade (if even possible) or a buyout in the near future shouldn't be a surprise. |

Yeah, found out not long ago that he doesn't have any movement protection next season either. However, as you said , might not be able to move him even if you wanted to. I'm more concerned in seeing what Dipietro can bring but it is likely too late. He's UFA after this season and why would he want to stick around?
I noticed that two Bruins made the 10 most disappointing NHL players list for this season...Sway and Lindholm. Pretty accurate assessment. |

Agreed.
And yeah - play Swayman alternately - he's getting paid. Let him soak up some pucks (when he's able)

Very accurate assessment.
I wouldn't resign if I was him. He will back up a team next year or fight for a starting position

Having him take losses in the big leagues is kinda putting him in his place IMHO.
This team isn't gonna get him a lot of wins. |

Yeah but he has excuses in the NHL...defense is decimated, we aren't scoring, blah, blah...but taking losses in the AHL?
Said it before, used to be a big Sway fan but not anymore. His play this year was the final straw as most of my issues with him are off-ice. |

I dont agree with paying someone 7+ mil to play in the AHL. Not even as a punishment. Let him ride it out on the main roster. His numbers speak for themselves.
Having said that, I do think he will turn it around. I just think this year is lost and he isn't going to find a rhythm in the last 15 games or whatever is left. His first 10 games next year are going to spell it out for me the rest of the way. |

Yeah, I understand. I actually hope he can change my mind, but I'm not going to hold my breath. |
