Hughes looks so damn exhausted. Can't imagine how many injuries he's fighting through just to be out there every night

I was thinking the same last night watching him.

I am hoping the team can make last WC, but with the way the other chasing teams are playing, if I was a gambling man I might go with the Blues.

If I were a gambling man I'd bet on someone else because the Blues currently have the best odds

I wonder if any teams out there are second guessing passing on Boeser. Seems like he’s going into clutch mode in these big games again similar to last year’s playoffs.

With the salary cap staying where it is or even shrinking, I really hope they don't re-sign Boeser.

It has been confirmed to be going up quite a bit, something like 7 mil.

That was before the trade war and the shrinking Canadian dollar.

Not on a long term deal. 5 years max. 8 million still seems high

As far as I know, and I think I heard this on the CJ show (Who is actually a pretty reliable journo), they make decisions like that in the december meeting and it's set. I guess things change it, Covid certainly did, but I haven't heard anything about that effecting it.

It's not changing because of Trump's antics, cap is still going up

Canadian teams are paying close to 40% more on the players. No way markets like Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton and even Vancouver can't sustain that for 4 or more years.

Well you better check again. I told you all back when this new projection came out that I’d believe it when I see it and you and others said no no no it’s set in stone! Now Bettman saying it may not go up as they thought.

Boeser may be on a bit of hot streak but it's still time to move on from him longer term. 5 more years of the same is not going to help us.
