Look no further than Clown Coach Keefe, or as he should be called Lindy 2.0. He’s an absolute coward in dealing with his talented players and team overall. After a horrible performance Thursday he thought it was a good idea to give the boys the night off. Saturday they failed to show up yet again! Keefe’s big take away? “Kovacevic needs to be better”, talk about clueless and tone deaf! As a season ticket holder I hope they continue this slide and miss the playoffs. This team is going nowhere fast.
That brings us to the disastrous 2 years Fitz has had. He gave Ruff a 3 year deal and was forced to fire him mid season. He fixed that blunder by hiring a guy that Toronto just fired due to his soft ineffective approach. That was backed by the players on the team. Fitz didn’t just go garbage picking, he threw $3 million per for 3 years! This is like signing Tatar after a season of healthy scratches and being waived. No other team wanted him, Fitz gave him $1.8 million for 1 year. Sprong was available for less and had just posted 18 goals after a 21 goal season. Don’t worry, Fitz had a plan! Let’s just wait until the trade deadline and throw more draft picks away on garbage that won’t get us to the finish line!
Keefe’s and Fitz have to go. The team has absolutely QUIT on them. The locker room needs a tough, honest coach that believes in conditioning. I never thought I would say this, but they need a Tortorella type. I think Babcock would be a good fit. No matter what happens, believe that this team quit likes Toronto on Clown Keefe.
