Pretty much #2. I don't have a 2nd team. And the Anaheim Ducks have been stressing me out. So I'm just out here having fun watching the playoffs |

Eklund: What playoff team have you adopted? - Eklund
Would like see someone other than Tampa Florida and Vegas. Wouldnt cheer for any other team but my own, but I would prefer seeing new teams in the finals/hoist the cup. |

I would have said Tampa but I've taken to Winnipeg this playoffs.
But no stress when it's not your team playing in the playoffs and sadly it's been awhile now |

As a Habs fan in it or not I tend to pick a team I like in the west to follow just because I get to stay up and watch even more hockey. I took LA and Dallas conference finals before the playoffs started, feeling good. Also picked Minny to win round one! |

Winnipeg if Ottawa poops the bed. Imagine Edmonton with Hellebuyck? |

Normally root for the Blackhawks and Flyers, rooting for the Stars and Lightning in the playoffs. |

For childhood motivations lost in the mists of the early 70s regarding my second and third teams, I usually follow/cheer for the Rangers and Canucks, in that order, unless the Habs are directly against them. This year, the team I least expected to see in the playoffs is in while the other two are out, so after the Habs, I’ll be pulling for the Jets and Oilers, in that order.

#2 Personally I have been hoping for Jets, Habs, Sens, Kings, Stars, Panthers, Wild and Hurricanes. But just enjoying the games. - Makita
But then you don't have time to practice the LET'S GO PETEY chant that maybe will work this time around |

I root for the Canadian Cup drought to continue until they put a team in Quebec City again. Then I will root for that team if the Flyers are a no go. |

#2 for sure. Besides being just a big fan of the NHL playoffs I typically find myself rooting for a long-drought team to win. Last year I was all in on Florida winning. This year I find myself rooting hard for the Leafs. I can’t believe I typed that.
Makes it easier since I don’t have to root against the Rangers, Bruins or Flyers. |

I don’t adopt teams, I just hope for exciting games. Nothin like playoff OT.
I do have a few buddies just hopin a Canadian team takes it, and we’re Americans. They just wanna see a Canadian team celebrate.
I’ll never root for the Capitals, but I will breathe easier if that triggers Ovie to go finish out his career back home. He’ll have the goals record and he could be prompted to hang em up with another Cup.
Had just about enough of that nonsense. 20 years of Ovie and Sid in our division is a headache. |
