I'd make that trade straight up, but not with the second. Iginla would score 60 easy with Getzlaf centering him.
The problem is Perry without Getz isn't too good. Check out Corey's stats last year when Getzlaf was injured. His production dropped dramatically and didn't pick up until Getzlaf came back.
Can't trade the twins. Getzlaf and Perry are like Yin and Yang.

That Ryan-Koivu stick play was BIZARRE. The whole thing went on right in front of me and I still didn't know exactly what happened until I got home and watched the replay. That play was a once-in-a lifetime happening.
Getzlaf has GOT to start shooting the puck more, especially if he's going to play the point on the PP. No one saw that one-timer he ripped in the 2nd on the 5 on 3 until it hit the back of the net. I know he prefers to pass but someone with a shot like that has got to use it, if for nothing else than to keep the D-men honest and keep them from cheating in the passing lanes like they're doing now.

Nice Blog Kat....... Finally. NHL network on the fly was a joke last night. Didn't mention the fact that Ryan used koivu's stick to score, thought for sure that would have been the highlight of the night.
hockey is big out here. just in the OC, people are bandwagoners. no one cared about the angels until they were champs. same with the ducks, and every fan left the next year.

you dont understand the rivalry because you are from ohio... if you lived in the so cal area, you'd understand why these two teams and fan bases hate each other.
and besides that, we are division rivals, we play each other 6 times a season (plus playoffs if it ever happens). that can cause a rivalry on its own.
