Tambellini isn't making trades because there are no trades to be made. Theres no pleasing most fans, plain and simple. Do nothing, and your "lazy and dont care" (which im sure is totally cool with ownership, even with a 6 figure salary). Make a trade under pressure, and then you get hounded for moving the wrong assets and acquiring more crap to play with the other crap already on your roster. Get real. On a team like this, Tambs will shine at the trade deadline and during FA. The only other way he's pulling the trigger is if any of these other GM's wanna come back down to earth and talk reasonable trade offers.

As for Horcoff and Belanger? We get it. They suck. Enough. Blog after blog after blog. We get it. These guys are 30 years old. You dont think they know that they have hands of stone? Honestly. They know what their good at. We know what their good at. Is it different for Horcoff because he makes so much money? Yes. But enough, we get it. Belanger is more then earning his salary. The guy carries under a 2 million dollar cap hit, and is doing all the things he was signed to do to a T. Would some extra offense with the ice-time he's being given hurt? No. He's not producing. Sometimes players take a year or two to get adjusted to a new team and city.

Ask me how furious I was during Danny Brieres first season. Ask me how I pull my hair out everytime Bryzgalov is in net.

But enough about Belanger for crying out loud. The guy doesn't make enough money for all the slack he gets. He does what hes good at night in and night out. He doesn't control when the coach puts him on the ice. End of story.

You guys are all racist..... Pekham rocks someone and gets a penalty and all you guys female dog at him, yet teubert takes retarded stick penalties from being out of posision and you suck his kock. I believe the flames scored on two of teuberts penalties. IMO id rather see someone level someone rather than take a two for holding his hand or some lame poop.

Boner you don't appreicate defensive players, I know Belanger isn't putting up 35 points, but him and Peckham are great on the PK, notice how the PK and PP is much better this year... Maybe thats cause we win a few more important faceoffs.

I think Hemmer isn't playing with a 100% effort level cause he's affraid he'll get hurt and then will never be dealt

I can also see in the future Hall calling the oilers management out and holding out similar to Turris did

You take it back! You take it back, man.

Actually, truly like Shawn Horcoff. It he was a $3mil per season player, and if he was the 3rd line center. It's not his fault the team seriously misuses him year after year.

It's true.

When I live in the UK, I use to watch Eastenders on BBC all the time. I also liked this show called Waterloo Road, and Shameless. Their news services are the best in the world, too.

paranych agreed it has been a long time since i lived in edmonton but does this guy really need to stroke his ego that much is he truly insecure?

dj guy meeeeeh it is subjective and i hear alot of the same crap in other nhl barns

horcoff partial agreement this guy has over sized contract and should be playing third line and pk

belanger partial agree dame role as horcs biggest role he has is to totally take over for horcs if we can find the right team who needs to hit the cap floor his money was partially front end loaded

renney okay ill give you that one he could be pissed off once in a while

tambs i think he has done many right things to make this team great and not just good hopefully the fan base gives him the time to see this thing out... it is going to be worth it

hemky agreed it is only a month till he is gone clearly he no longer fits or wants to fit in with what the team is doing

taylor hall agreed and glad you said it the guy is awesome but i could see him being dealt look at heatly incredible talent but seems to be a square peg every where he plays

khabby well.....not a great game last night so yeah agreed

fans disagree we all take our disposable income and time and invest it with the team this is entertainment win lose or draw we get from the team the right to talk think dream sleep hockey as much as we see fit

I need to do something with all of my pent-up hostility towards the team.

Awesome... Go calculate the winner of the draft contest

In other news, I'm glad Hall flipped out. It's nice to have someone show a little emotion out there... It reminds me that at least some of the Oilers on the ice are alive. There were 5-6 plays where I mistook Horcoff for a corpse. The only thing that pissed me off about Hall mouthing off, was that he didn't follow it up with beating the sh1t out of Renney.

Well, Gagner, for starters.

Since this season doesn't matter anyway, and since the Oil will likely get a clear shot at taking Yakupov in June, why not play Hall or Eberle at center? Maybe Hall could be Messier to Nuge's Gretzky.

Moving a winger to center...you learn nothing trying it for a few games. Give Hall 30 games at center, and then decide if it's an option or not.

"I love Hall's fire and passion, don't get me wrong, but he's a diva and that sort of behavior eventually gets you traded."

Hall is Hall to even mention that about him as a joke is WRONG....wish we had another 4 more Halls on this team.......

i like him too, actually his car.... damn thats a nice Porsche

The thing is Peckham proved he is tougher.... and plays better defensivly, Teubert got KO'd by a (frank)ing jr player. Anyway until teubert can learn how to be sound in his own end he should stay in the AHL. Its too bad Plante got hurt, i wanted to see what he could really do.

This is something I would like to at least see attempted. It honestly couldn't hurt, eve if its tried out for 10 games.

I was just speaking out of the guys who are natural centers.
